You'll have real responsibility early and a clear impact on Gridcog's success in Australia and the wider Asia-Pacific region.\nYou bring a solid foundational understanding of the energy sector (likely through an advanced degree) and/or direct professional experience, and you're highly motivated to drive real-world impact. You pick things up quickly, you're happy to get stuck into problems you haven't seen before, and you crack on without waiting to be told. We value drive and curiosity.\nCustomers are the heart of this role. You'll own a set of customer relationships from early on, helping them get set up in Gridcog, model their projects well and get real value from the platform.\nWhat you'll do\nCustomers (the core of the role)\nOwn relationships with a group of Australian and Asia-Pacific customers, from onboarding through to day-to-day use, with support from the team\nHelp customers model their solar, wind, battery and hybrid projects and answer their technical questions about the platform and the NEM and WEM\nKeep an eye on how customers use Gridcog and step in early when they could be getting more out of it\nHelp maintain our inputs and assumptions Library of Australian and Asia-Pacific market prices, network tariffs and project cost assumptions\nSales and marketing\nRun product demos with prospects alongside our sales team\nAnswer technical questions from prospective customers\nWrite blogs, market commentary and short videos on what's happening in Australian energy markets\nRepresent Gridcog at industry events\nProduct\nShare what you hear from customers with our product team and suggest improvements\nTest new features against real customer use cases\nWhat it's like working at Gridcog\nYou’ll join an established team in Melbourne, working closely with colleagues in modelling, product and sales who will help you get up to speed quickly. We’re still a start-up, though, so we move fast, try new things and don’t always have a process for everything.
