(plus $2 shift differential)\nCustom Culinary®, a subsidiary of Griffith Foods, is hiring a Mixing Operator to join our Production Team. The Mixing Operator is responsible for the safe operation and loading of mixing equipment and for operating, setting up, and troubleshooting production equipment in accordance with company quality, safety, and regulatory standards (Good Manufacturing Practice, Hazard Analysis, Critical Control Point, and Griffith Production System).\nAs a Mixing Operator your responsibilities will include:\nAbility to safely operate production equipment. \nVerify and ensure accurate counts of raw materials needed to produce a blended product. \nDischarging blended product from the blender using the prescribed screen size by operating the PLC touchscreen kettles.\nDischarging blended product from the blender using the prescribed screen size. \nFollowing specified customer sampling requirements of blended product. \nFilling out of daily schedule control to document production, quality, and performance. \nCleaning and sanitizing the production equipment and tools, including work area. \nDisposal of trash and garbage containers. \nAbility to safely lift up to 60 lbs. regularly throughout the shift \nQualified candidates will have:\nAbility to regularly lift and/or carry up to 60 pounds throughout the shift \nAbility to read, write, and speak English fluently, including the ability to read and comprehend instructions, short correspondence, and memos; ability to write simple correspondence; and the ability to communicate with individuals and small groups. \nAbility to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. \nWorking knowledge of Enterprise Resources Planning systems such as Microsoft Dynamics AX or RedZone or similar. \nWorking overtime as needed throughout the week, up to and including Saturday work. \nAbility to stand, walk, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, and crouch for extended periods during the shift \nComfortable working with and around allergens and cleaning chemicals \nMust be able to work onsite in Avon, OH\nCandidates must currently be at least 18 years of age AND possess unrestricted authorization to work in the United States. Work visa sponsorship is not available for this role.\nWhat will set you apart:\nHigh school diploma or general education degree (GED) \n3 months experience and/or training in a USDA regulated manufacturing environment \nExperience operating mixing or blending equipment. \nFamiliarity with food safety requirements. \nWorking knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics AX and RedZone ERP software. \nPhysical Requirements:\nWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit, stand and walk to communicate and listen effectively. This will require both office and plant environments. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Safely navigate stairs and ladders\nEnvironmental Concerns:\nWhile performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts and risk of electrical shock. The employee is occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions; high, precarious places and vibration.
