Production Planning & Execution\nManage production planning and ensure effective execution of the production plan.\nCreate and maintain master data in ERP, including routings and cost roll-ups.\nMonitor plant efficiency metrics and ensure timely reporting.\nEnsure optimum utilisation of materials, machinery, and manpower.\nAdapt production plans based on changing business requirements and resource availability.\nAllocate resources effectively, including machinery and manpower.\nMinimise inventory losses by reducing in-process losses and stock variances.\nLead continuous improvement initiatives at the shop-floor level.\n2. Plant Operations & Warehouse Management\nManage warehouse operations and ensure effective reporting.\nEnsure smooth coordination with cross-functional departments to support uninterrupted plant operations.\nCoordinate effectively with Plant Maintenance to maximise equipment uptime.\nManage outbound logistics, including contracting, monitoring, and reporting.\nEnsure adherence to defined operational processes and standards.\n3. Quality, Health, Safety & Environment\nImplement Health & Safety policies and procedures across the plant.\nEnsure compliance with environmental policies and procedures.\nExecute policies, programs, and procedures to ensure products are manufactured in accordance with defined quality parameters.\n4. People & Manpower Management\nManage talent development for plant employees, including training, work allocation, performance appraisal, and employee development.\nAddress employee grievances and resolve workplace issues.\nManage manpower contractors, including staffing, contracting, legal compliance, attendance, and reporting.\nEnsure effective manpower utilisation in line with operational requirements.\n5. Stakeholder & Cross-functional Coordination\nWork closely with internal stakeholders to ensure smooth plant operations.\nCoordinate with external manpower contractors, logistics service providers, and ERP support teams.\nDemonstrate flexibility in managing uncertain operating environments, including changing customer requirements, raw material availability, and manpower constraints.\nProactively revise production plans in response to changing business and resource requirements.\nReporting Structure & Key Interfaces\nInternal Stakeholders\nReports to: Plant Manager\nDirectly Supervises: Production Executives and Shop-floor Manpower\nKey Internal Interfaces:Plant MaintenanceQualityPurchasePlanningCostingR&DCustomer Support\nExternal Stakeholders\nManpower Contractors\nLogistics Service Providers\nERP Support Team\nEducation & Experience\nBachelor's degree or Diploma in any discipline, preferably Food Technology or a related stream.\n10-15 years of relevant experience.\nExperience working with cross-functional departments.\nExperience working in an ERP environment.\nLanguage Skills\nAbility to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.\nAbility to prepare routine reports and correspondence.\nAbility to communicate effectively with groups of employees.\nReasoning Ability\nAbility to solve practical problems and manage situations with limited standardisation.\nAbility to interpret instructions provided in written, verbal, diagrammatic, or schedule formats.\nComputer Skills\nProficiency in Microsoft Office.\nAdvanced Excel knowledge.\nWorking experience in an ERP environment.\nWork Environment\nThe role involves working in both office and plant environments.\nThe plant environment may include exposure to moving mechanical parts, dampness, and dust.\nNoise levels in the plant are generally moderate, with hearing protection required in designated areas.\nThe office environment is generally quiet.\nCompetency Requirements\n1.
