For more information, visit www.griffithfoods.com.\n\nThe purpose of the role\nTo manage and control the transport booking with logistics providers for the despatch of products from both Griffith Foods UK sites (Derbyshire & Somercotes) to UK & Ireland destinations. Critical to ensure on time delivery. Ensuring that the service is delivered in the most cost-efficient manner whilst maintain high quality and level of service to Customers.\nResponsibilities\n· Booking collections for UK & Ireland with logistics providers via our transport management platform Transporeon.\n· Manage any day to day issues as they arise, and follow up to ensure deliveries are made on time, providing data if required.\n· Proactive communication with customer service in case any transport-related issues occur.\n· Carry out service reviews with logistics partners.\n· Proactively understand all customer delivery requirements/restrictions, and make sure deliveries are made accordingly.\n· Review and approve transport related invoicing, hi-lighting and resolving and issues that arise.\n· Provide logistics assistance to all departments as & when required.\n· Proactively and visibility support the Health & Safety standards, rules and regulations of the Organization.\n· Ensure all input data and details are 100% correct in Transporeon / Freight Cube and communicate with the relevant contacts to adjust, correct this data on time.\n· Perform any other associated duties that may arise.\nRequirements\nEducation\nMinimum GCSE or equivalent.\nMinimum Experience\nSome logistics experience\nFluent English, excellent Excel skills and a practical, detail-focused approach required.\nOther European languages are advantageous.\nPreferred Experience\nPreferably more than one year in logistics.\nExperience using an ERP system such as D365 or SAP.\nExperience using Transporean Transportation Management Platform, or equivalent.\nCompensation: Our base salary for this role is £36,644 GBP gross per
