We are looking for a detail-oriented Manufacturing Quality Inspector to help ensure our manufactured plastic sheet and roll products consistently meet customer specifications and our internal quality standards.\n The Quality Inspector ensures that all manufactured plastic sheet and roll products meet customer specifications and Grimco’s internal quality standards. This role performs in-process and final inspections, uses precision measuring tools, verifies color and surface properties, completes work-order documentation, and partners closely with production to maintain consistent quality throughout each run.\nImportant: This is a hands-on manufacturing quality position located on the production floor. It is not a laboratory, pharmaceutical, engineering, product development, or scientific research role. Successful candidates typically come from manufacturing, production, quality inspection, machine operation, printing, plastics, converting, industrial operations, or warehouse environments. Schedule & Compensation Monday through Friday, 10pm to 6:30 am Pay Range: $22.00 - $24.00 per hour (based on experience) Shift Differential: Additional $1.50 per hour on top of base rate\nKey Responsibilities\nReview work orders and customer specifications\nPerform in-process and final inspections\nUse precision measuring and testing equipment\nVerify dimensions, color, surface quality, and product performance\nDocument inspection results and maintain accurate records\nCommunicate quality concerns with production personnel\nSupport root cause investigations and continuous improvement efforts\nMonitor and document scrap and quality trends\nRequired:\nManufacturing or quality inspection experience preferred\nAbility to use measuring tools and basic computer software\nStrong attention to detail and accuracy\nAbility to read work orders and specifications Preferred:\nPreferred:\nExperience in plastics, printing, converting, or industrial production\nExperience with quality inspection equipment and dimensional measurements\nIdeal Background Manufacturing\nPlastics production, industrial production, printing and converting, machine operation, material handling, warehouse operations, or production quality inspection.
