Based primarily at our Sunset Hills, Missouri corporate office, with some time at our Owensville manufacturing plant, you will work with supply chain leadership and plant operations to analyze current practices, research best practices, and develop actionable recommendations for Grimco's manufacturing and distribution network.\nAnalyze finished goods and raw-material inventory across manufacturing locations and distribution hubs to support recommendations on inventory placement, service levels, carrying costs, freight expense, and inventory turns.\nDocument current production-planning processes across Grimco manufacturing plants, identify inefficiencies in manual processes, and research relevant best practices. \nResearch and evaluate production-planning systems and software solutions, including opportunities for standardization, automation, and improved schedule visibility. \n\nDevelop practical recommendations, including quick-win improvements and a longer-term roadmap to optimize manufacturing runs and production planning, and present findings to supply chain and plant leadership. \n\nUse data analysis and modeling to evaluate supply chain performance and support decisions that can improve OTIF delivery, reduce inventory investment, and strengthen operational efficiency. \n\nCurrently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, Business Analytics, or a related field.\n\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and strong organizational abilities.\n\nProficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, data analysis, and modeling.\n\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work independently and manage multiple projects.\n\nCoursework or experience in inventory management, production planning, or operations research is preferred; familiarity with ERP systems or production-planning software is a plus.\n\nExposure to data visualization tools, distribution-network optimization, Lean manufacturing, or Six Sigma principles is preferred.\n\n WHAT WE OFFER\nReal-world experience solving complex supply chain challenges in a multi-site manufacturing and distribution environment.\n\nExposure to strategic inventory management, production planning, and operational improvement initiatives.\n\nMentorship and practical learning from experienced supply chain professionals and plant operations leaders.\n\nThe opportunity to influence strategic decision-making through analysis and actionable recommendations.\n\nA practical understanding of how inventory and production planning affect customer service, operational efficiency, and business performance, along with professional networking opportunities across the organization.\n\nREADY TO MAKE YOUR MARK?
