We are seeking a Linux DevOps Engineer to join our server administration team at our office in Auckland, New Zealand.\n\nLocation: On-site in Henderson, Auckland, New Zealand\nRelocation assistance (for the right candidate, if needed)\nFull time position - 40 hours a week\n\nResponsibilities:\nAs one of our server administrators you will be responsible for supporting both our online game, Path of Exile, as well as our internal server infrastructure. You will also help maintain and improve the tooling and automation required by these systems.\nTo be considered you will need to have several years experience managing servers in a production environment, as well as a strong background in programming server-related automation (e.g. deployment and maintenance-related tasks). \nRequirements: \n\nCloud technology including managing VMs via APIs\n\nAssembling computer hardware and diagnosing hardware faults\n\nCompiling packages from source and creating custom debs/rpms\n\nContinuous integration (e.g. Buildbot)\n\nOur game, Path of Exile\n\nTechnologies used in this role - the more of these (or similar products) you have experience with, the better:\n\nUbuntu and CentOS Linux distributions\n\nPython\n\nBash\n\nZabbix\n\nNGINX\n\nPostgreSQL\n\nConfiguration management (e.g. Ansible)\n\nOn-Call rotation: \n\nTwo days in lieu will be credited at the end of your rostered on-call week.
