The successful candidate will be required to work alternating shifts including alternate weekends.\nJob description\nThe responsibilities will include, but are not limited to the following:\nDeliveries and collection of documents\nVerify Imports/ Exports documentation prior to framing.\nEnsure correct tariff headings are used.\nFollow up on all progress of shipments in Customs.\nFollow up on Customs examinations and stops.\nEnsure HUB queries are attended on time.\nEnsure correct data is captured from invoices.\nEnsure compliance report / remarks are up to date. \nEnsure correct procedure code and tariff are applied. \nCapture correct driver details when preparing documents.\nEnsure pending files are updated and accurate at all times.\nEnsure correct transport details are applied on all entries framed.\nEnsure accurate info, value, as per invoice are used when preparing the entry.\nCommunicating and liaising with Shift supervisor to verify documents submitted.\nAdvise Customs Border Administrator if SADC levels are low & communicate to clients.\nEnsure 100% upload of all scanned documents on Shipshape.
