These positions offer the opportunity to support large-scale digital infrastructure deployments, with an emphasis on structured cabling, fiber systems, telecommunications, and network infrastructure.\nYou will oversee program execution from planning through completion, aligning project teams, subcontractors, vendors, and stakeholders around scope, schedule, budget, safety, and quality. Success requires a leader who can manage multiple priorities, maintain strong project controls, and translate field activity into clear reporting and timely decisions.\nKey Responsibilities\nLead the planning, execution, and delivery of data center construction and infrastructure programs, applying established PMO standards, processes, and methodologies.\nManage multiple projects and workstreams across locations, coordinating resources, schedules, dependencies, and deliverables.\nOversee structured cabling, fiber backbone deployments, fiber splicing, OTDR testing, and MDF/FDF infrastructure activities.\nOwn program budgets, forecasting, milestone tracking, payment events, and schedule performance reporting.\nMonitor cost and schedule performance, including SPI/CPI metrics, and implement corrective actions when needed.\nManage subcontractor and vendor performance, ensuring accountability for scope, timelines, cost, safety, and quality.\nPartner with field leadership to support labor planning, site execution, and compliance with project requirements.\nServe as a primary point of coordination for clients, internal teams, and external partners, communicating progress, risks, escalations, and decisions.\nIdentify and resolve issues that could affect delivery, customer experience, or financial performance.\nDrive process improvements that strengthen program consistency, efficiency, and reporting.\nLead teams through changing priorities, resolve conflicts, and support sound personnel and resource decisions.\nRequired Qualifications\nBachelor's degree.\nMinimum of five years of program management experience.\nExperience managing complex construction, telecommunications, network infrastructure, or critical infrastructure programs.\nStrong budgeting, forecasting, project controls, and subcontractor/vendor management capabilities.\nDemonstrated leadership skills in team building, stakeholder management, risk management, negotiation, conflict resolution, and decision-making.\nAbility to collaborate across internal functions and external partners while balancing customer expectations and cost controls.\nExperience leading organizational or process changes and implementing improvements.\nProficiency with Microsoft Office, Outlook, SharePoint, Microsoft Project, and program or project management systems.\nFamiliarity with ERP, CRM, workforce management, and cloud-based technology platforms.\nWillingness and flexibility to travel approximately 50%, depending on project needs.\nPreferred Qualifications\nPMP certification; Six Sigma, Agile, Scrum, or related certifications are also valued.\nExtensive experience leading structured cabling, fiber infrastructure, telecommunications, network infrastructure, and critical infrastructure construction programs across multiple states or territories.\nFifteen or more years of relevant infrastructure and construction leadership experience.\nExperience managing large annual project portfolios, including portfolios exceeding $180 million.\nHands-on knowledge of fiber backbone deployments, fiber splicing, OTDR testing oversight, and MDF/FDF infrastructure.\nApproximately four years of experience serving as a senior manager on-site, with sustained tenure through major project phases.\nExtensive leadership experience involving field labor, safety, and quality.\nExperience with Primavera P6, Procore, Autodesk Construction Cloud, or similar platforms.\nExperience with Salesforce and project portfolio management tools.\nAbout The GOR Group\nAt GOR Group, we believe in Grit Over Resume.\nWe understand that great talent does not always come from a perfectly matched resume.
