This role provides day-to-day leadership of field operations while ensuring projects are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and in accordance with client specifications and industry standards.\nWorking closely with Project Managers, Project Engineers, Superintendents, QA/QC personnel, subcontractors, and customers, the Construction Manager serves as the onsite leader responsible for coordinating labor, managing installation quality, resolving field challenges, and driving successful project outcomes.\nPosition Details\nExempt Salaried Position (Compensation based on experience)If residing outside of 100 miles, additional travel allowances may be included. \n\nLocation: Rayville, Louisiana\nDaily onsite presence required\nTravel: Up to 15%\nDirect supervision of field personnel\nKey Responsibilities\nSafety Leadership\nChampion a culture where safety is the highest priority.\nEnsure compliance with all company safety policies, OSHA requirements, and client site procedures.\nLead daily safety planning, inspections, and incident prevention initiatives.\nSupport incident investigations and continuous safety improvement efforts.\nConstruction Leadership\nLead all onsite construction activities from mobilization through project completion.\nDevelop installation strategies, sequencing plans, and site logistics.\nMaintain project schedules, labor forecasts, and production tracking.\nCoordinate daily activities with Project Management, Procurement, QA/QC, and subcontractors.\nEnsure projects remain on schedule while maintaining productivity and quality expectations.\nTechnical Leadership\nServe as the onsite subject matter expert for:\nStructured Cabling Systems\nFiber Optic Infrastructure\nLow Voltage Systems\nTelecommunications Installations\nMission Critical Construction\nResponsibilities include:\nReviewing construction drawings and specifications\nResolving field conflicts and constructability issues\nManaging RFIs and technical clarifications\nSupporting commissioning and system validation\nOverseeing fiber testing including OTDR and power meter validation\nEnsuring compliance with ANSI/TIA, BICSI, NEBS, and customer standards\nTeam Leadership\nLead, mentor, and develop field personnel and supervisory staff.\nManage large field teams consisting of 100+ technicians.\nConduct performance evaluations and coaching.\nAssist with hiring, workforce planning, and employee development.\nFoster a culture of accountability, craftsmanship, and continuous improvement.\nClient & Stakeholder Management\nServe as the primary onsite construction representative for the client.\nParticipate in project meetings, site walks, milestone reviews, and technical discussions.\nBuild strong relationships with customers, subcontractors, and project stakeholders.\nResolve field issues proactively to minimize schedule impacts.\nQuality & Project Delivery\nPartner closely with QA/QC teams throughout construction.\nEnsure all installations meet project specifications and quality standards.\nMonitor commissioning readiness and project closeout activities.\nSupport documentation, turnover packages, and customer acceptance.\nQualifications\nRequired\nHigh School Diploma or GED required.\nMinimum of 5 years of progressive supervisory experience supporting structured cabling, telecommunications infrastructure, or mission-critical construction projects.\nExperience leading large field teams of 100+ personnel.\nStrong understanding of low-voltage construction and structured cabling systems.\nAbility to interpret construction drawings, specifications, schedules, and project documentation.\nExperience coordinating multiple subcontractors and field crews simultaneously.\nTechnical Knowledge\nStrong working knowledge of:\nStructured Cabling Systems\nFiber Optic Infrastructure\nLow Voltage Systems\nTelecommunications Installations\nData Center
