The Senior Project Manager will oversee project execution, schedules, budgets, subcontractor and vendor performance, installation strategy, and workforce planning while developing strong relationships that support continued business opportunities.\nThe position will have direct reports and is well suited for an experienced construction leader with extensive experience delivering large-scale structured cabling, data center, and mission critical infrastructure projects.\nKey Responsibilities\nChampion safe work practices in accordance with the client's safety program and project site requirements, with a focus on maintaining an accident-free workplace.\nPromote and model the client's core values and help foster a strong, accountable project culture.\nLead and manage assigned project management team members and direct reports.\nInvestigate potentially serious project situations and implement appropriate corrective measures within established guidelines and under supervision.\nManage assigned projects against schedules and performance objectives, including Scheduling Performance Index (SPI) expectations.\nManage subcontractor and vendor performance to support compliant, successful project delivery.\nProvide project progress updates, reports, and performance metrics to stakeholders.\nDevelop and manage installation strategies using industry best practices, proven means and methods, and effective construction planning.\nEnsure project deliverables are completed accurately, efficiently, and on schedule.\nMaintain accountability for the financial performance of assigned projects and manage costs against established budgets.\nOversee and present project cost reports within required timelines.\nManage labor, materials, equipment, and other organizational resources to maintain project schedules and budgets.\nBuild strong working relationships with teammates, customers, and vendors to support existing projects and expand future business opportunities.\nDevelop resource plans and evaluate staffing and project needs based on project requirements.\nPartner with internal and external teams to provide subject matter expertise related to estimating, construction feasibility, and value engineering.\nLeverage construction technology platforms, automation, and software to improve safety, quality, efficiency, and cost performance.\nFoster an innovative environment where employees identify practical solutions to project challenges and opportunities for process optimization.\nEncourage continuous improvement and Lean initiatives that support strategic site goals.\nSupport training programs designed to develop employees and strengthen workforce continuity.\nLead by example and create opportunities for technical and professional development through internal training and industry certification programs.\nRequired Qualifications\nAAS or BS in Construction Management or Construction Engineering. Relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.\nMinimum 10 years of progressive construction industry experience in a management or leadership role.\nExtensive experience managing large-scale, multimillion-dollar projects across different construction vertical markets.\nExperience managing multiple contracting and project delivery methods, including:Lump sum / fixed price\nCost plus\nGuaranteed Maximum Price (GMP)\nUnit price / rate\nDesign-build\nTime and material\n\nExperience managing construction teams of 50 to 100+ technicians on project sites.\nExperience working with industry-leading manufacturer products and solutions.\nAdvanced project management and leadership capabilities.\nStrong decision-making and judgment skills, including the ability to manage projects requiring significant authority over procedures, plans, and schedules.\nDemonstrated ability to use information and data to make informed decisions.\nDeep understanding of industry-specific estimating and engineering best practices.\nAbility to identify change events and implement effective change management practices.\nKnowledge of construction technology platforms and applicable quality and safety standards.\nSolid understanding of construction accounting principles and cost forecasting.\nAbility to communicate and present project information to stakeholders.\nWorking knowledge of PMBOK Guidelines and Standards.\nAbility to develop and manage project schedules.\nDemonstrated professionalism and the ability to work effectively with management, staff, vendors, customers, and other stakeholders.\nStrong coaching, team-building, and conflict-resolution skills.\nAbility to work under time constraints and adapt positively to changing requirements.\nStrong written and verbal communication, organizational, presentation, and customer service skills.\nAbility to present effectively to both small and large groups.\nDisciplined, detail-oriented, organized, and self-driven.\nDemonstrated ability to organize resources and establish priorities.\nProven ability to resolve complex problems, conflicts, and project issues.\nStrategic planning skills.\nAbility to develop processes and standard operating procedures.\nProficiency with business and construction industry applications, including:Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio\nBluebeam\nProcore\nPrimavera P6\nScheduling Performance Index (SPI)\nCost Performance Index (CPI)\nTextura\n\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience overseeing and managing large structured cabling projects and/or data center construction projects.\nExperience managing the installation of mission critical infrastructure for data center new-build and retrofit projects.\nOSHA 30-Hour certification.
