Our team oversees the successful movement of products from our vendors to our stores and is self-motivated, passionate, and dedicated.\nAbout the Role: The Inventory Data Specialist reports to the Director: Master Data Governance on the Supply Chain Team. The Inventory Data Specialist’s role is to support the quality and integrity of Grocery Outlet’s product data through regular data monitoring, maintenance activities, and collaboration with the team to identify process improvement across the business.\nResponsibilities Include:\nDemonstrate a cross-functional understanding of the business, specifically as it relates to end-to-end product lifecycle, from purchase order creation through receiving/storage in the warehouse through shipments to stores.\nWill be responsible for reviewing error logs, researching & resolving tickets, dashboards, and item datasets (e.g., purchase orders, on-hand inventory, UPCs) to ensure a high level of accuracy and completeness, identifying and resolving any gaps to maintain strong data integrity in a timely manner.\nIdentify trends associated with data quality & quantify the impact to the business (buyers, assistants, inventory control etc.). Escalate training opportunities back to the business units’ specific issues related to the new data quality standards in their roles.\nParticipate in cross-functional data quality initiatives, including data cleansing, enrichment, and standardization efforts.\nContribute to the development of data quality standards and SOPs to support long-term governance, proactively escalate risks associated to data quality on inbound purchase orders.\nRecommend process enhancements based on recurring data issues and opportunities identified through analysis and business user feedback.\nAd hoc tasks and analysis as needed to support the business.\nAbout The Pay:\nBase Salary Range: $70,000-$75,000 Annually\n401(k) Profit Sharing\nMedical, Dental, Vision & More!\nFinal compensation will be determined based upon experience and skills and may vary based on location.\nAbout You:\nBachelor’s Degree in related field (Information Systems, Business Analytics, etc.) or at least one year of relevant experience\nIntermediate Excel Skills (VLOOKUP, Formulas, Conditional Formatting, Pivot Tables, etc.)\nExcellent analytical and problem-solving skills\nStrong communication and interpersonal skills\nAbility to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment\nAbility to effectively prioritize work and complete urgent tasks in a timely manner\nCuriosity to understand how data impacts the customer experience and business operations\nExperience in retail at any level is a plus\nExperience with SAP HANA or similar ERP is a plus\n\nTo learn about how we collect, use and secure your personal information.
