We are a people-centric organization with employees committed to safety, integrity, and accountability. \nAbout the Position \nGroome Industrial Service Group is seeking a General Laborer who will perform various general manual labor tasks. \nWhy work for Groome Industrial Service Group? \nHealth and Safety is our #1 priority 24/7/365!! \nCompetitive wages - the salary range for this position is $22-$24 per hour.\nComprehensive health benefits coverage after 60 days of full-time employment. \n401(k) after the eligibility period with company matching component. \nOpportunities for growth and development in your career. \nPositive and safe work environments. \nKey Responsibilities:\nCleans equipment for customers.\nSpray equipment with pressurized water.\nRemove debris with vacuum operation.\nRotation of operating equipment (boom, vacuum, and blaster).\nMay neutralize equipment after removal of debris.\nAssists in maintaining an organized set of supplies and equipment. \nEnsures equipment is placed and returned to its proper storage location.\nConsistently keeps a clean, well-maintained, and organized work area.\nSafely excavate any type of soil without disturbing underground infrastructures/utilities\nAlways complies with all safety requirements.\nComplies with all company policies, and safety practices. \nWork productively as a member of the team. \nPerform other related duties as assigned.\nWhat does it take to work for Groome Industrial Service Group?\nMust be able to work overtime, holidays, and weekends (rotating), if required.\nSome travel and night work required.\nMust have acceptable DL, pass a background check, drug screen, and physical.\nHigh school diploma or GED.\nPossession of a TWIC card is a plus but not a requirement.\nMust understand verbal and written instructions.\nMust be able to read and write.\nMust have basic math skills. \nPhysical Requirements:\nAbility to lift, push or pull objects up to 50 lbs. on occasion. \nAble to withstand 70 psi of back pressure.\nMay reach above shoulder height and below the waist frequently. \nMay stoop, kneel, or bend, on occasion. \nMove in and around confined, cluttered, and uneven areas. \nRequired to use hands to grasp, lift, handle, carry or feel objects frequently.\nWork up to a 12-hour shift doing hard physical work in varying temperatures and outside conditions.\nFor additional information about our company, visit us at www.groomeindustrial.com. \nGroome Industrial Service Group is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
