These services include but are not limited to hydro blasting, hydro excavating, vacuum truck work, tank cleaning, Filter cleaning / reloading, and other work assignments. Performs work with a positive attitude and in a professional, safe manner.\nLoads hoses and other equipment required for an assigned job onto the truck. (Necessary materials to be designated by supervisor).\nWhen directed by the supervisor, hooks up and break down hoses using proper safety gear, tools, gaskets, and Teflon tape.\nCleans up work area and equipment after work is completed. Assists in maintaining a safe, clean workplace, restroom, and customer plant.\nBefore starting any job, assist in inspecting equipment, hoses, connections, pumps, and general work area. Inform supervisor of deficiencies, which may cause accidents, injuries, or lost productivity.\nReports to work on scheduled time. If unable to show up for assigned work, notify the supervisor no less than two (2) hours before the scheduled time.\nWears personnel protective equipment prescribed by posted signs, written instructions, and work permits.\nPromotes safety through own actions and work habits. Reports all accidents and near misses involving self, company vehicles, or other job personnel to the supervisor immediately.\nPerforms Hazard Recognition Awareness to remove all hazards from the workplace.\nComplies with all applicable rules, regulations, policies, and procedures of the company and customer.\nPerforms all other duties as assigned by supervisor and management personnel.\nDevelops a basic working knowledge of all equipment utilized to perform assigned duties.\nWork productively as a member of the team.\nWhat does it take to work for Groome Industrial Services?\nPossess a valid driver's license with a clean driving record, and acceptable ID.\nReliable transportation to / from work.\nMust meet I-9 requirements.\nCommunication Device (Mobile phone, SMS)\nMust be able to work overtime, holidays, and weekends (rotating), if required.\nMust be able to travel at times.\nMust be 18 years of age.\nHigh School diploma or GED.\nMust complete required training courses for certain customers.\nAbility to work any shift including nights and weekends.\nMust have acceptable ID, pass a background check, physical, and drug test.\nPossession of a TWIC card is a plus but not a requirement.\nMust understand verbal and written instructions.\nMust be able to read and write English\nMust have basic math skills.\nAbility to lift, push or pull objects up to 50 lbs. on occasion.\nMay reach above shoulder height and below the waist frequently.\nMay stoop, kneel, or bend, on occasion.\nMove in and around confined, cluttered and uneven areas.\nMust be able to comply with all safety standards and procedures.\nRequired to use hands to grasp, lift, handle, carry or feel objects frequently.\nWork up to a 12-hour shift doing hard physical work in varying temperatures and outside conditions.\nThese responsibilities are subject to change at any time and may include other duties as assigned.\nFor more information about our company, please visit www.groomeindustrial.com.\nGroome Industrial Service Group is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
