Groq owns the hardware and controls access to it through software that Groq develops and manages. New sites are ground-up developments in leased or build-to-suit facilities that take longer and carry more risk than retrofits of existing space.\nAs Infrastructure Delivery Manager, you are the single owner of new sites from executed contracts through customer acceptance and handover to the Site Manager. The assigned sites are your full-time assignments. You direct the owner's representative, general contractor, utility, and vendor interfaces, and you hold the schedules, budgets, and gates for the sites.\nLocation: Dallas, TX. Expect 40 to 50 percent travel, including extended time at the assigned site during construction and commissioning.\nResponsibilities\nSite ownership\nOwn the integrated schedule, budget, risk register, and decision log for the assigned site from contract execution to customer acceptance.\nTake over the site from Site Procurement at contract execution, including the lease or development agreement, entitlement status, and committed delivery obligations. Confirm each obligation is tracked and assigned.\nManage the owner's representative, design team, general contractor, and specialty contractors. Review designs, drawings, change orders, and pay applications against Groq's power, cooling, space, network, and security requirements.\nDrive utility and power interconnect milestones, including studies, agreements, long-lead electrical equipment, and energization dates, with the landlord, utility, and Groq energy and engineering teams.\nTrack permitting, inspections, and entitlement conditions that affect the critical path.\nHardware and integration\nAlign the construction schedule with hardware production, shipment, and delivery commitments from Hardware Procurement. Sequence deliveries to site readiness and avoid storing equipment in unfinished space.\nCoordinate rack installation, integration, cabling, and network turn-up with Groq engineering, OEMs, and integrators.\nCommissioning and acceptance\nManage the owners representative’s commissioning program, from factory and site acceptance tests through integrated systems testing, with the commissioning agent and Groq engineering.\nCoordinate burn-in, NVIDIA certification, Groq software validation, and customer acceptance testing, and hold each gate against its exit criteria.\nLead the customer acceptance process and resolve open items before final acceptance.\nHandover and reporting\nBuild the handover package with the Site Manager, including as-built documentation, runbooks, spares, training, and the open-items list.\nObtain written acceptance of the handover from the Site Manager.\nReport schedule, cost, and risk to the Sr. Staff Infrastructure Delivery Manager weekly and to executives and the customer as needed.\nCapture lessons learned and contribute to the new-build playbook, including the standard gate criteria and templates.\nRequired qualifications\nFive or more years delivering large mission-critical or data center construction projects, with at least one ground-up build of 20 MW or larger taken from design through commissioning.\nDirect experience with owner's representative and general contractor management, including change control and cost tracking.\nWorking knowledge of data center power and cooling design, utility interconnection, and commissioning levels 1 through 5.\nAbility to hold a schedule and a gate under pressure from customers, executives, and contractors.\nStrong financial and contract literacy.\nWillingness to be on site for extended periods.\nPreferred qualifications\nExperience delivering GPU, HPC, or AI cluster facilities at scale, including liquid cooling and high-density power.\nExperience with NVIDIA reference architectures and certification programs.\nExperience with hyperscale or colocation development in multiple regions.\nPMP, PgMP, or equivalent. The total cash salary range for this position, which is inclusive of the potential bonus value, is $140,200-$219,500, with individual placement determined by your geographic location, experience, skills, and alignment with internal compensation standards.
