We take cab chassis from OEMs like Ford and Harbinger and build configurable vehicle systems on top, serving mobile healthcare, RVs, command centers, food and beverage, pet care, and more. Our customers include Colgate, Nokia, the AIDS Healthcare Foundation, and Portland PD. We've raised ~$5M in VC funding and are shipping vehicles in market today.\nWe also build our own software: a mobile app, fleet dashboard, and onboard computer system that lets customers monitor and control vehicle systems remotely. We design, fabricate, and assemble everything in-house at our facility in Corktown.\nThe Role\nWe're hiring a Fleet Sales Account Manager to own deals end to end - from qualified opportunity through close and beyond. Grounded sells modular electric vehicles to organizations that often need more than one: mobile healthcare networks, service companies, government, and brands. You'll be the person who understands what a customer needs, configures the right vehicle solution with them, and gets the deal done.\nBecause our vehicles are configurable and serve so many verticals, this is a consultative, solution-oriented sale. You'll work closely with our sales engineer and the engineering team to scope what's possible, and with the customer to land on the right configuration, timeline, and price.\nWhat you'd actually do\nOwn a pipeline of fleet and enterprise opportunities from qualification through close\n\nRun discovery to understand customer use cases, then configure vehicle solutions with them\n\nBuild proposals and quotes; manage pricing, negotiation, and contracts\n\nPartner with the sales engineer and engineering team to scope feasibility and timelines\n\nManage customer relationships through delivery and pursue fleet expansion and repeat business\n\nForecast accurately and keep the CRM current (HubSpot)\n\nFeed market and customer signals back to product and leadership\n\nWhat we're looking for\n5+ years in B2B sales / account management, ideally selling considered, higher-ACV products\n\nTrack record owning deals end to end and hitting quota\n\nStrong consultative selling skills; comfortable with technical products and multi-stakeholder deals\n\nExperience selling to fleets, enterprises, or the public sector is a strong plus\n\nSelf-directed and comfortable with a young, evolving sales process\n\nExcellent communication and relationship-building\n\nNice-to-haves\nExperience selling vehicles, capital equipment, or fleet/commercial products\n\nFamiliarity with HubSpot\n\nInterest in EVs and specialty vehicles\n\nCompensation\nCompetitive base salary + meaningful equity in Grounded + comprehensive health insurance\nWhy this role is different\nYou'll sell a genuinely differentiated product, to customers across industries, with real ownership of your deals - not a narrow slice of a rigid process.
