Your responsibilities will include preparing and serving inspired drinks while delivering distinctive experiences for guests. You are the charming individual that impresses guests with your beverage expertise and techniques in an unmatched, expertly maintained atmosphere. Candidates must have a friendly and professional demeanor, work well on a team, and be comfortable on their feet for several hours at a time.\nRequirements\nDuties/Responsibilities:\nResponsible for helping to set up, run, and break down bars at events \nEnsure the bar is stocked with all necessary supplies and equipment based on the event \nPrepare and serve liquor, mixed drinks, wine, beer, and nonalcoholic drinks for event patrons \nAssess bar customers’ needs and preferences and make recommendations \nMix ingredients to prepare cocktails \nStay guest focused and nurture an excellent guest experience \nMaintain the bar and keep it clean and organized \nComply with all food and beverage regulations \nRequired Skills/Abilities:\nAbility to perform essential functions on the computerized Point of Sale system. \nWorking knowledge and ability to mix and serve a wide variety of drinks. \nWorking knowledge of the proper operation of all bar equipment. \nWorking knowledge of applicable liquor laws and regulations. \nWorking knowledge of standard cash handling procedures. \nCurrent State Food Handler’s License and State Mixologist Permit required. \nEducation and Experience:\nAt least one year of related education, training and/or experience. \nExtensive knowledge of drink preparation or service. \nExcellent interpersonal skills and focus on serving customers. \nAbility to learn cash register software used by bar or restaurant. \nPositive attitude and excellent communication skills. \nBenefits: Benefits include PTO, health, vision, dental, life insurance, 401(k) for qualifying FT employees.\nEmployee perks: 20% discount at Ground entities (includes Grounded Table, The Pub, Ground Market, Grounded Body)\nAbout The Ground\nThe Ground is a hospitality business based in beautiful Willamette Valley that exists to realize human potential in harmony with the planet.
