Join us, where we’ll make a greater impact together.\nWhat You'll do:\nWe are seeking an experienced Appian Test Engineering Lead to support the development of web-based applications, specifically with automation testing experience.\nPlay a strategic role in the overall design and implementation of the quality assurance program.\nLead the development of overall test strategy, test environment design, and test data\nProvide leadership in the selection and hiring, training, mentoring, project performance evaluations of testing team members.\nPlan, execute, and report on software development and maintenance testing\nReview and provide recommendations regarding test documentation\nDevelop test plans and procedures in support of system evaluation based upon specifications and technical data articulated in requirements documents\nDevelop and implement data collection plans based on data collection requirements, to include training for operators and data collectors\nConduct required reviews of all data collection forms and operational logs collected during test\nReview Test Incident Reports for accuracy and completeness\nSupport analysis of documented user requirements and assists in the design of test plans in support of user requirements\nWork and collaborate with testing working groups for test related issues and topics\nProvide timely communication regarding upgrades and downtimes (planned & unplanned), system changes, or common issues\nUnderstand how to properly report bugs and properly escalate issues as needed\nPerform technical reviews; ensure adherence to quality processes\nRequired Experience/Qualifications:\nBachelor’s Degree in information technology or related discipline from an accredited college or university\n5+ years of software testing experience, working with developers, project and release managers, system administrators, business analysts, and database administrators\n2+ years of automation testing experience\nExperience leading a team and mentoring junior team members \nExperience interpreting requirements, writing quality control documentation (e.g. Test Reports), and writing user acceptance test plans (including Acceptance Criteria)\nKnowledge of Test Management, Automation toolsets and processes\nKnowledge of Performance Testing process and cadence\nProficiency with test automation and test management tools, like Playwright and Selenium\nGreat organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills \nAbility to work independently and communicate and work productively as part of fully remote and/or hybrid teams\nMust be a U.S. citizen in accordance with contract requirements.
