Join us, where we’ll make a greater impact together.\nWhat You'll do:\nWorkday Technical Architect\nJob Description\nGroundswell is seekinga highly skilled Workday Technical Architect to provide technical delivery leadership for a complex Workday implementation supporting an Intelligence Community customer. This individual will oversee and coordinate the technical workstreams supporting the Workday deployment, ensuring technical activities, dependencies, and deliverables remainaligned across the implementation.\nThe Workday Technical Lead will work closely with the Workday Delivery Lead, Solution Architect, Integration Lead, Data Conversion Lead, Security team, customer CIO organization, OEM technical teams, and other program stakeholders. This individual will maintainvisibility into the technical plans, milestones, and deliverables across concurrent, related contracts to assess how dependencies, decisions, or delays may impactcontractexecution.\nThe ideal candidate will combine deep Workday technical expertise, enterprise technology experience, and strong technical leadership skills with the ability to operateacross multiple organizations and programs. This individual must be able to translate complex technical dependencies into clear impacts, risks, and decisions for both technical and program leadership.\nKey Responsibilities\nTechnical Delivery Leadership\nProvide technical leadership and oversight across Workday technical workstreams, including Integration, Data Conversion, Security, environments, testing, and other technical delivery activities.\n\nEnsure technical workstreams have clearly defined requirements, dependencies, milestones, and interfaces with other implementation teams.\n\nCoordinate technical plans, milestones, dependencies, and deliverables across technical workstreams to support successful Workday deployment.\n\nPartner with the Solution Architect to ensure technical implementation remainsaligned with the approved solution architecture and technical standards.\n\nPartner with the Workday Delivery Leadto ensure technical activities remainaligned with the Workday Implementation Methodology and overall deployment schedule.\n\nLead cross-workstream technical discussions and drive resolution of issues that span multiple technical teams.\n\nEnsure technical teams and subcontractor resources remainaligned with implementation priorities and technical standards.\n\nIdentifytechnical risks, issues, and dependencies and ensure appropriate mitigation, ownership, and escalation.\n\nCustomer CIO & Technical Stakeholder Engagement\nServe as a key technical interface with the customer's CIO organization and other enterprise technology stakeholders.\n\nBuild strong working relationships with customer architecture, infrastructure, cybersecurity, integration, data, and other technical organizations.\n\nCoordinate technical requirements, decisions, dependencies, and readiness activities with customer stakeholders.\n\nTranslate Workday and implementation requirements into clear technical impacts and actions for customer technology teams.\n\nCommunicate technical risks, decisions, and dependencies clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.\n\nConcurrent ContractTechnical Coordination\nMaintain visibility into ATOtechnical plans, milestones, deliverables, dependencies, and decisions that may affect contractexecution.\n\nUnderstand the technical deliverables and responsibilities across both programs and identifydependencies between the two efforts.\n\nCoordinate with ATOtechnical teams, vendor technical teams.and program leadership to understand progress and identifypotential impacts to contracttechnical activities.\n\nAssess the downstream impact of ATOdelays, changes, or technical decisions on contractmilestones, workstreams, testing, and deployment readiness.\n\nWork with the Workday Delivery Lead and Program Manager to communicate and manage technical dependencies that may affect overall program commitments.\n\nSupport development of mitigation and recovery strategies when external technical dependencies affect contractexecution.\n\nTechnical Governance & Readiness\nSupport technical design reviews, readiness reviews, and implementation checkpoints.\n\nEnsure technical deliverables and implementation artifacts meet established quality, architecture, security, and customer requirements.\n\nCoordinate technical dependencies associated with environments, access, security, interfaces, data, testing, and deployment.\n\nProvide technical status, risks, dependencies, and readiness assessments to the Workday Delivery Lead and Program Manager.\n\nSupport technical planning for implementation milestones, testing cycles, cutover, deployment, and operational transition.\n\nRequired Qualifications\nBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent experience.\n\n10+ years of experience supporting enterprise technology, ERP, HCM, or complex system implementations.\n\n5+ years of relevant Workday implementation experience with significant technical delivery responsibilities.\n\nExperience serving as a Technical Lead, Technical Architect, or comparable technical leadership role on multiple HCMimplementationsand at least one Workday implementation.\n\nBroad understanding of Workday technical architecture and implementation, including integrations, data conversion, security, environments, reporting, APIs, and deployment activities.\n\nDemonstrated experience coordinating multiple technical workstreams within a large-scale enterprise implementation.\n\nExperience identifyingand managing complex technical dependencies across systems, teams, organizations, and implementation schedules.\n\nExperience working with enterprise CIO, IT, architecture, infrastructure, and cybersecurity organizations.\n\nExperience coordinating technical activities and dependencies with software vendors, OEMs, or other external technology partners.\n\nDemonstrated ability to understand technical scope, milestones, deliverables, and dependencies across interconnected programs or projects.\n\nExperience supporting technical planning, testing, deployment readiness, and production transition activities.\n\nDemonstrated experience leading technical teams consisting of employees, consultants, and/or subcontractor resources.\n\nStrong understanding of enterprise integration, data, security, and architecture principles.\n\nStrong technical problem-solving, analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.\n\nAbility to translate complex technical issues and dependencies into clear program impacts, risks, decisions, and recommended actions.\n\nU.S. Citizenship requiredper contract requirements.\n\nCandidates must be eligible to obtain and maintainthe government security clearance and access requiredfor the role, up to and including Top Secret (TS) clearance with SCI access and Counter Intelligence(CI) polygraph.
