The Assistant Sales Manager plays a pivotal role in supporting the Sales Manager at the Branch location by championing key organizational initiatives focused on enhancing sales productivity. This dynamic individual actively contributes to the development of strategies aimed at improving sales processes while collaboratively leading a team of Outside Sales Representatives. Their efforts are integral to driving customer satisfaction initiatives across the sales team, ensuring a cohesive and effective approach to achieving overall sales and organizational success.
Duties and Responsibilities
Assiststo ensuresthe sales team provides a thorough,effectiveand professional presentation to each customer
Assistsin the training and development of Outside Sales Representatives to meet individual,branchand company sales targets
Assiststo ensure teampossessproduct knowledge, understanding of marketing techniques and the ability to relate to customer needs
Conducts ride-a-longs with Outside Sales Representatives to improve techniques and processes
Assistsin handling customer concerns
Leads by example andrepresentsthe brand with confidence and professionalism
Runs warm leads and prospects own book of business
It is an essential function of this job that the employee regularly and reliably reports to work on time each working day.

Qualifications
In-home sales experience preferred, but notrequired
2-3 years of experience leading a team of sales individuals
Exceptional communication and problem-solving skills
Strong work ethic, integrity,humilityand desire to build an industry-leading sales team
Proven leadership ability to influence, develop and empowerteamto achieveobjectiveswitha strong teamfocus and approach
Superior knowledge of sales techniques
Highly organized and efficient
Dedication to providing great customer service
