Apply today!\nDuties and Responsibilities\nDraft, review, and negotiate a broad range of agreements, including Vendor and supplier agreements (materials, equipment, IT, marketing)\nSubcontractor and independent contractor agreements\nCustomer-facing terms and conditions\nNDAs, MSAs, SOWs, and purchase agreements\nBalance legal risk with commercial objectives to drive timely deal closure\nIdentify key risk areas (indemnity, limitation of liability, insurance, termination rights, payment terms).\nManage contracts from intake through execution and renewal\nImplement and maintain standardized templates\nDevelop and maintain organized contract repository and documentation protocols\nPartner Groundworks functions, sales, and operations to support contracting needs.\nTranslate business requirements into clear contractual terms.\nCoordinate internal approvals and ensure alignment with company policies\nSupport field operations with contract-related questions and escalations.\nEnsure contracts comply with company policies and applicable laws.\n Escalate non-standard terms or high-risk provisions.\nSupport compliance with: Licensing and permitting requirements (where contractually relevant) Insurance and indemnification standards, and Data privacy and security requirements (for vendors handling customer data).\nDevelop and refine contract templates, playbooks, and negotiation guidelines\nDrive consistency across branch locations and functions.\nIdentify opportunities to streamline contracting workflows and reduce cycle time.\nSupport implementation and optimization of CLM systems.\nProvide insights on contracting trends and risk areas.\nPerforms other duties as assigned.\nQualifications\nBachelor's degree required (J.D. or paralegal background is a plus)\n5-10+ years of contract management or commercial contracting experience.\nStrong experience negotiating vendor and service agreements.\nExcellent understanding of key contract terms and risk allocation\nPreferred\nExperience in home services, construction, or a multi-location service business.\nFamiliarity with high-volume, decentralized operations.\nExperience with CLM systems.\nBasic understanding of Employment and independent contractor considerations and Insurance and risk transfer mechanisms\nWorking Conditions\nThe Contract Manager can sit in either our Virginia Beach, VA or Dallas, TX corporate office.
