This role assists with preparing, validating, and analyzing data; maintaining recurring reports and dashboards; modifying existing SQL queries; and communicating results in a clear, client-ready format. The Jr. Reporting Analyst works under the guidance of the Analytics Director and senior team members to ensure reporting is accurate, timely, and aligned with stakeholder needs.\nJob Responsibilities\nEssential Functions:\nRun, review, and modify existing SQL queries to support recurring and ad-hoc reporting needs.\nUse intermediate Excel skills to organize, validate, analyze, and summarize data from multiple sources.\nPerform data quality checks, including identifying discrepancies, validating report outputs, and escalating issues when needed.\nSupport the creation, maintenance, and refresh of recurring reports, dashboards, and KPI reporting.\nAssist with Power BI report or dashboard updates, data refresh validation, and basic visualization enhancements.\nGather, clarify, and document reporting requirements from internal stakeholders and external clients.\nPrepare clear report explanations, summaries, and findings for client-facing and internal audiences.\nSupport client questions by researching report results, validating data, and communicating status or findings professionally.\nAssist senior analysts with assigned reporting tasks, enhancements, analysis requests, and client-facing initiatives.\nTrack, document, and help resolve reporting issues, data inconsistencies, and process questions.\nUse reporting and analytics to identify trends, explain variances, and support business recommendations under guidance.\nBuild strong working relationships with internal partners, clients, and cross-functional teams.\n\nPosition type\nFull time\nJob Qualifications\nEducation/Certifications:\nBachelor’s Degree or equivalent combination of training and experience\n\nExperience:\n1-2 years of experience in reporting, analytics, business intelligence, data analysis, or a related role; equivalent training or education may be considered.\n\nPreferred Experience:\nWorking knowledge of querying relational databases or demonstrated aptitude for learning query tools.\nExposure to business intelligence, reporting, analytics, or dashboard support.\nPower BI dashboard development, maintenance, data visualization, or report refresh experience preferred.\nExperience working with client-facing reports, operational data, web portals, warehouse management systems, or ERP systems preferred.\nPrevious Telecom, Retail, Customer Success, or operations support experience preferred.\n\nSkills and Qualifications:\nStrong attention to detail with the ability to review data for accuracy, completeness, and consistency.\nAbility to work with data received in multiple formats from clients, internal systems, and business partners.\nBasic-to-intermediate SQL skills, including the ability to run, review, and modify existing queries.\nIntermediate Microsoft Excel skills used for data organization, validation, analysis, and summarization.\nAbility to explain reporting results, trends, and variances in a concise and easily understood manner.\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills with a professional, service-oriented approach to client and stakeholder interactions.\nStrong organizational, documentation, and task management skills with the ability to meet deadlines and manage assigned work accurately.\nCuriosity, problem-solving ability, willingness to learn, and ability to work both independently and as part of a team.\n\nPreferred Skills and Qualifications:\nExposure to Power BI, Tableau, or another business intelligence platform.\nExperience creating or maintaining reports, dashboards, KPI summaries, or recurring analytics deliverables.\nAbility to interpret business requirements and translate them into reporting or data request documentation.\nFamiliarity with data visualization concepts and effective visual storytelling.\nCustomer service, listening, communication, critical-thinking, and problem-solving skills.\n\nPhysical Requirements: N/A\n\nDisclaimer: The above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by people assigned to this classification.
