We also encourage active participation in industry trade, business, and professional associations to keep you at the forefront of your field. \nEnvironmental Construction Coordinator\nLocation: New York, NY-Onsite between 4 boroughs\nSalary: $120,000 - $150,000\nPosition Summary\nThe Environmental Construction Coordinator supports environmental monitoring, compliance, and stakeholder engagement activities for large-scale construction projects. This role serves as a liaison between environmental monitors, construction teams, project stakeholders, and regulatory agencies to ensure environmental requirements are met, issues are resolved efficiently, and project communications remain clear and effective.\nResponsibilities\nCoordinate environmental monitoring activities and maintain compliance documentation, permits, approvals, and project records.\nReview environmental reports, monitoring data, and field observations to identify trends, risks, and corrective actions.\nConduct site visits and support environmental compliance oversight during active construction.\nTrack environmental commitments, mitigation measures, and issue resolution efforts.\nPrepare reports, presentations, meeting materials, and meeting minutes.\nSupport community outreach efforts and respond to environmental inquiries as needed.\nCollaborate with contractors, consultants, project teams, and regulatory agencies to facilitate communication and compliance.\nCommunicate environmental status updates, risks, and recommendations to project leadership.\nQualifications\nBachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, Construction Management, Environmental Planning, or a related field.\n3+ years of experience in environmental compliance, environmental monitoring, construction oversight, or infrastructure projects.\nExperience reviewing environmental monitoring data, compliance reports, and mitigation measures.\nKnowledge of environmental regulations and permitting requirements.\nStrong written and verbal communication skills with experience preparing technical and public-facing materials.\nExperience working with contractors, consultants, regulatory agencies, and community stakeholders.\nProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and document management systems.\nAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience supporting large-scale Design-Build, infrastructure, transportation, or public works projects.\nFamiliarity with air quality, noise, vibration, and environmental monitoring programs.\nProfessional certifications such as ENV SP, CEP, CHMM, or similar credentials.\nExperience supporting public-sector capital construction programs.\nOne Team.
