We also encourage active participation in industry trade, business, and professional associations to keep you at the forefront of your field. \nSenior Construction Project Manager\nLocation: Richmond, VA (Onsite - 5 Days/Week)\nSalary: $150,000 - $170,000\nOverview\nWe are seeking an experienced Senior Construction Project Manager to lead the planning, execution, and delivery of complex construction projects in Richmond, VA. The ideal candidate will have a strong background managing projects within the Life Sciences, Pharmaceutical, R&D, or Healthcare sectors and be capable of overseeing all phases of project delivery from preconstruction through closeout.\nKey Responsibilities\nLead project planning, budgeting, scheduling, procurement, and execution activities\nManage project teams, consultants, contractors, and client stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle\nOversee project financials, including forecasting, cost control, change management, and reporting\nDevelop and maintain project schedules, ensuring milestones and deliverables are achieved\nIdentify and mitigate project risks while proactively resolving issues\nReview construction documents, contracts, submittals, RFIs, and change orders\nConduct regular project meetings and provide clear communication to clients and leadership\nEnsure compliance with quality, safety, regulatory, and project-specific requirements\nCoordinate design, construction, commissioning, and turnover activities\nPrepare executive-level reports and presentations on project status, budget, schedule, and risks\nQualifications\nBachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field\n8+ years of construction project management experience, including leadership of large or complex projects\nDirect experience managing Life Sciences, Pharmaceutical, R&D, or Healthcare construction projects required\nStrong understanding of construction means and methods, project controls, budgeting, and scheduling\nExperience managing multidisciplinary teams, consultants, contractors, and client stakeholders\nProficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and project management software\nStrong organizational, leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills\nAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience with cGMP, laboratory, clean room, healthcare, or other highly regulated environments\nKnowledge of Primavera P6, Procore, PM Web, or similar project management platforms\nPMP, CCM, PE, or other industry certifications are a plus\nOne Team.
