Comprised of individuals with varied technical, construction and project management backgrounds, the Major Projects team works with all facets of the organization to define, execute and manage scope, schedule and budget for the company’s largest, most complicated and critical projects. \nThe electrification of everything starts with amazing people. Our team and everyone at our company is committed to cultivating a more sustainably powered world with solutions for today, not years from now. \n\nWHAT YOU’LL BE DOING \nProject Managers are responsible for the overall success of specific capital projects within capital programs. This includes working with program managers and other project stakeholders to develop and execute project plans, manage budgets, coordinating with stakeholders and ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget and meeting the goals and objectives of the company. A project manager is generally responsible for:\nDevelop and execute project plans for a capital project within the context of the overall capital program, including defining project scope, schedule and budget\nAllocation and managing company resources.\nManage project budgets and track expenses to ensure that projects stay within budget.\nUse common project management tools such as Earned Value Management to forecast, identify and address project risks and opportunities as well as manage change over the project’s lifecycle.\nCoordinate with the Program Manager and other stakeholders, including internal and external teams to keep everyone informed of project progress and to resolve any issues that arise.\nOversee general execution of specific projects within the capital program.\nIdentify and mitigate risks and opportunities to ensure project success.\nManage project changes and ensure that all changes are documented and approved by all relevant parties.\nWork with the Program Manager to Report on project progress to management and relevant project stakeholders.\nWHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR\nBachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration or a related field (or equivalent work experience).\nAt least 7 years of experience with 3+ years in program or project management, with a focus on capital projects.\nStrong understanding of project management principles and practices.\nExcellent organizational and leadership skills.\nStrong communication and interpersonal abilities.\nProblem-solving and decision-making skills.\nKnowledge of safety regulations and compliance.\nWillingness to travel to project locations both within and outside of the US.\nOTHER QUALITIES WE’D LOVE FOR YOU TO HAVE \n\nProject Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent.\nExperience with capital projects in the battery materials or other chemical process industries.\nExperience with project scheduling tools (Primavera P6, MS Project, etc.)\nExperience with Project Management Information Systems (PMISs, e.g., Kahua, PM Web, etc.)\nBase Pay Range\n$115,000—$155,000 USD\nGROUP14 OFFERS COMPELLING BENEFITS\nMedical, Dental, and Vision: 100% paid for by the company for employees (80% for dependents) with an HSA-eligible plan option for Medical\nEmployee Assistance Program\nLong-Term and Short-Term Disability Insurance\nLife Insurance and AD and D Insurance (100% Employer Paid)\nOption to purchase additional Life and AD and D Insurance (with guaranteed issue) and Accident, Critical Illness, and Hospital Insurance coverages for you and dependents at affordable rates\nDiscounted rates on Pet Insurance\n401(k) with Pre-Tax and Roth options and Company Match\nPaid Time Off and Floating Holidays\nStock Options\nGROUP14 IS AN EQUAL OPPORTUNITY EMPLOYER\nWe love creating opportunities for others by connecting people from widely diverse backgrounds, perspectives, and geographies.
