As we continue to grow, we are building a team united by passion for shaping the future of energy.\nThe Process Operator is responsible for the maintenance and operation of equipment and processes in our Woodinville facility. Some of the processes may involve use of hazardous and volatile materials under high temperature and pressure. Therefore, process operators must follow safe work practices including wearing of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), following detailed procedures and instructions, accurately recording of process conditions and some laboratory testing.\nThis position offers opportunities for continuous learning and the opportunity for advancement towards production leadership roles.\nWHAT YOU’LL BE DOING:\nThis position will be on 2nd Shift -(Monday to Thursday's 5:30pm - 5:45am)\nPerform job duties in a safe and conscientious manner, following all procedures, programs, and policies established for specific processes.\nMaintaining equipment and following operations’ standard operating procedures.\nObserve machine operations to ensure quality and conformity of manufactured or packaged products and intermediates.\nIsolating systems for maintenance using work permits and lock out tag out process.\nOperating manual and pneumatic valves.\nOperating systems using Distributed Control System.\nAct accordingly to all system and plant alarms and follow standard operating procedures (SOP).\nMaintaining proper and safe process operations of the operating equipment.\nAdjust machine components and machine settings to comply with product protocols.\nRemove finished product from machine and separate rejected items.\nMake periodic checks of process and equipment settings.\nPerform preventative maintenance on equipment as assigned.\nStop or reset machines when malfunctions occur, and report malfunctions to supervisor.\nAssist in the design and implementation of production techniques and equipment scale-up.\nFollow detailed procedures and instructions.\nRecord process conditions.\nInspect processes and work to assure effective quality control.\nSupport continuous quality initiatives.\nFunction with the production team effectively.\nTrain other employees in proper production techniques, safety and equipment operation as needed.\nPerform other work as assigned.\nWHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR:\nHigh school diploma or equivalent.\nPrevious manufacturing experience.\nStrong analytical and math proficiency.\nHigh level of mechanical aptitude.\nAbility to systematically troubleshoot and problem solve integrated processes.\nGood communication and interpersonal skills, attention to detail and problem-solving skills.\nPHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:\nAbility to stand for a minimum of two hours without assistance.\nAbility to lift 25 lbs.\nAbility to wear a respirator for 30-60 minute periods.\nParticipation in medical surveillance per our Industrial Hygiene program.\nAbility to work any shift (24/7), both 8 and 12 hour shift lengths.\nOTHER QUALITIES WE’D LOVE FOR YOU TO HAVE:\nAA degree in a related field.\n1+ years of direct experience working as a process operator in a chemical plant, power plant, nuclear plant, or other industrial manufacturing facility.\nExperience using computer control interface software.\nCertificate in six sigma or lean manufacturing.\nAbility to read and interpret piping schematics/ diagrams.\nFork truck license.\nThe base pay range for this position starts at $22/hour for Level 1 ($1.50 additional per hour for the night shift) to $28+/hour for more senior levels, depending on experience. All positions come with a company bonus and stock options.
