As we continue to grow, we are building a team united by passion for shaping the future of energy.\nGroup14 Technologies is looking for a Technical Program Manager (TPM) to join our Business Development organization to drive customer adoption and technical qualification of our silicon-carbon composite anode material, SCC55®. Functioning as the key technical bridge between commercial partners, including top-tier automotive OEMs, consumer electronics leaders, and global cell manufacturers, and internal engineering teams, you will oversee joint development agreements, sampling pipelines, and customer validation milestones from initial engagement through commercial program delivery.\nWHAT YOU’LL BE DOING:\n Customer Technical Lead: Serve as the primary technical program interface for commercial partners, facilitating technical deep-dives, specifications matching, and Joint Development Agreements (JDAs).\nQualification Management: Drive customer sampling programs and cell qualification cycles to meet customer gating requirements.\nCross-Functional Alignment: Partner closely with program managers, business development managers, R&D, Quality, and Manufacturing Operations to translate customer specifications into internal product roadmaps and technical deliverables.\nRisk & Timeline Execution: Establish project scopes, timelines, and risk mitigation strategies to ensure key program milestones are delivered on schedule.\nTechnical Advocacy: Synthesize OEM testing feedback and battery testing data to refine application guidelines and present technical progress to external and internal executive stakeholders.\nWHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR:\n Language Requirement: Fluency in Mandarin (native or professional full-working proficiency, written and spoken) is required to interface directly with major Asian cell manufacturing partners and supply chain stakeholders.\nEducation: B.S. or M.S. in Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Electrochemical Engineering, or a related technical discipline.\nExperience: 4+ years of technical program management, application engineering, or technical customer success experience in the lithium-ion battery, advanced materials, or automotive/EV sectors.\nDomain Knowledge: Hands-on familiarity with lithium-ion cell chemistry, silicon-anode development, electrode formulation, and battery testing standards.\nCommunication & Execution: Proven ability to manage multi-stakeholder technical projects, translate complex data for commercial teams, and navigate high-stakes OEM engagements.\nOTHER QUALITIES WE’D LOVE FOR YOU TO HAVE:\nDirect experience with silicon-carbon composite materials or advanced battery chemistry scaling.\nPrior exposure to automotive OEM cell qualification standards (e.g., APQP, PPAP) or tier-1 cell manufacturing processes.\nAbility to travel up to 25% for partner meetings and facility visits.\nBase Pay Range\n$120,000—$155,000 USD\nGROUP14 OFFERS COMPELLING BENEFITS\nMedical, Dental, and Vision: 100% paid for by the company for employees (80% for dependents) with an HSA-eligible plan option for Medical\nEmployee Assistance Program\nLong-Term and Short-Term Disability Insurance\nLife Insurance and AD and D Insurance (100% Employer Paid)\nOption to purchase additional Life and AD and D Insurance (with guaranteed issue) and Accident, Critical Illness, and Hospital Insurance coverages for you and dependents at affordable rates\nDiscounted rates on Pet Insurance\n401(k) with Pre-Tax and Roth options and Company Match\nPaid Time Off and Floating Holidays\nStock Options\nGROUP14 IS AN EQUAL OPPORTUNITY EMPLOYER\nWe love creating opportunities for others by connecting people from widely diverse backgrounds, perspectives, and geographies.
