This position will report to the area Operations Manager.\n The main responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to:Carry out the daily operation (regulatory monitoring and reporting process adjustments, chemical transferring and maintenance) of the facilities\nProvide operational support & troubleshooting for plant operations\nMaintain required inventory and inventory control of critical spare parts, chemicals, & consumables\nCreate maintenance requests\nComplete and compile data of daily inspections, monitoring, and sampling as required\nPerform maintenance tasks as requested by the supervisor\nPerform laboratory analysis and reporting\nPreparation weekly, monthly, annual reports as required\nProvide training and mentorship to plant operational staff\nParticipate in required meetings (in-person & remotely)\nParticipate, enforce, and comply with all aspects of the company's health and safety program\n\nHours of Work\n2 options:\nWTP: 10/4 days rotation (10 days on at 8 h/d, 4 days off).\nWWTP: week no1 from Monday to Friday (8 h/d) AND week no2 from Monday to Saturday (M to F 6 h/d + Saturday 12 h/d including 4 hr as OT).\n Required Qualifications\nExperience + 2 years\nCurrent WTP 1 and/or WWT 1 + WWC (proof of certification is required);\nAbility to lift 25 kg (55lb);\nIntermediate to advanced mechanical knowledge;\nAbility to work under pressure quickly and efficiently;\nExcellent problem solving skills;\nStrong independent worker and team player;\nGood communication skills, both written and verbal;\nProven ability to supervise and communicate with staff members;\nPositive attitude\n How to Apply?\nQualified candidates are encouraged to forward their resume by email to:\n\n\n\nFor email applications please have the subject line read Water Operator level I Fort St-John\nWe thank all applicants in advance;
