The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of Data Structures and Algorithms (DSA), a proven ability to apply Design Patterns, and expertise in Low-Level Design (LLD) to architect and implement robust, scalable, and efficient full-stack solutions. This role is critical for building and maintaining high-quality, lean engineering environments that value smart development practices, quality-first thinking, and the strategic use of modern AI-assisted development tools.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\n Design, build, and maintain robust full-stack applications leveraging MongoDB, Nest.js, React.js, and Node.js, ensuring optimal performance, scalability, and maintainability through the judicious application of efficient algorithms, established design patterns, and sound Low-Level Design (LLD) principles.\n Take complete ownership of features from architectural design through production deployment, utilising modern CI/CD workflows including GitHub Actions, Vercel, and AWS.\n Integrate and strategically leverage AI-assisted development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT) to accelerate development velocity, improve documentation quality, and streamline test authoring.\n Author and maintain comprehensive unit, integration, and end-to-end test suites to uphold rigorous code quality standards.\n Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Data, and Hardware teams within an agile, lean delivery framework to drive frequent, high-quality releases.\n Ensure consistent performance, responsiveness, and scalability across both frontend and backend systems.\n\nRequired Qualifications & Skills\n\nEducational Qualification\n\nBachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related engineering discipline.\n\nTechnical Skills\n\n 3–5 years of professional experience building production-grade applications on the MERN stack (MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, Node.js).\n Strong proficiency in Data Structures and Algorithms (DSA), with the ability to analyse problem complexity and implement optimised solutions.\n Demonstrable experience with various Design Patterns (e.g., MVC, Singleton, Factory, Observer) and their practical application in building scalable and maintainable software systems, coupled with a strong understanding of Low-Level Design (LLD) principles for modular and efficient code architecture.\n Strong proficiency in frontend architecture, including React Hooks, Context API, and/or Redux.\n Solid understanding of Node.js, Express.js, RESTful API design, and MongoDB schema design.\n Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines, Git-based workflows, and cloud deployment on AWS or equivalent platforms.\n Proficiency with automated testing frameworks such as Jest, Mocha, and/or Cypress.\n Demonstrated use of AI-assisted coding tools integrated into day-to-day development practices.\n\nPreferred Qualifications (good To Have)\n\n Exposure to IoT systems or prior experience with hardware device integration.\n Experience with real-time data technologies, including WebSocket.\n Professional background in agriculture, climate-tech, or rural technology sectors.\n Working knowledge of TypeScript or serverless computing architectures.\n\nKey Competencies\n\n Strong problem-solving ability and analytical thinking, with a focus on applying Data Structures and Algorithms and Low-Level Design (LLD) principles to solve complex technical challenges efficiently and effectively.\n High ownership mindset with the ability to drive features independently.\n Effective cross-functional communication and collaboration
