In this role, you'll work across the stack to design, implement, and ship features that directly impact how clients and providers connect, communicate, and access care.\nYou'll join a collaborative, product-focused engineering organization where technical work is closely tied to learning, iteration, and real-world outcomes. Engineers who join now have a real opportunity to build systems that matter at meaningful scale.\nWhat You'll Be Doing\nDesign, implement, and ship customer-facing features that span frontend and backend systems\n\nOwn the full lifecycle of your work - from scoping and implementation through testing, deployment, and iteration\n\nContribute to and improve core platform systems, including those related to discovery, scheduling, transactions, and user experience\n\nImplement and support A/B tests and experiments, from hypothesis through measurement and rollout\n\nInvestigate, triage, and resolve production incidents and complex cross-system bugs\n\nWrite clean, well-tested, maintainable production code and take an active role in code reviews\n\nCollaborate closely with Product, Design, and Data to deliver well-scoped, measurable solutions\n\nParticipate in technical discussions and contribute to architectural decisions within your team\n\nYou'll Be a Good Fit If You Have\n6+ years of professional software engineering experience\n\nExperience building and maintaining production systems at scale\n\nComfortable working across backend APIs and frontend interfaces, with hands-on experience in Python and modern React/TypeScript\n\nExperience working on systems where data quality, correctness, and performance matter\n\nStrong execution skills and the ability to deliver scoped work independently\n\nCuriosity and a willingness to learn complex systems and new problem domains\n\nA product-minded approach - you understand how technical decisions impact user experience and business outcomes\n\nStrong collaboration and communication skills, with a track record of working closely with cross-functional partners including Product, Design, and Data Science\n\nExperience using AI-assisted dev tools (e.g., Claude, Cursor)\n\nA bias toward ownership, speed, learning, and continuous improvement\n\nTeam Descriptions\nNew Markets & Model - The New Markets & Models team drives Grow’s next phase of growth by validating and scaling new business models and complex partnerships. As a Software Engineer on this team, you’ll develop systems that capture measures, structure documentation, and surface insights so we can demonstrate outcomes and power value-based partnerships.\nClient Activation - The Client Activation team owns the fragile moments between booking and a client’s first few sessions, making starting care feel clear, reliable, and supportive. As a Software Engineer on this team, you’ll build and harden systems for scheduling, authentication, notifications, and early-journey flows that directly determine whether clients show up, come back for visit two, and build lasting relationships with their providers\nClient Engagement - The Client Engagement team owns the experiences that keep clients connected between and across sessions-web and app surfaces, notifications, and core journeys. As a Software Engineer on this team, you’ll ship features that help clients stay on track with care plans, manage appointments, and stay engaged long after their first visit.\nCoverage & Payments Experience - The Payments Experience team owns the client-facing financial journey, from eligibility checks and cost estimates to charging cards and handling balances.
