In this role, you will lead end-to-end tax solutions (Direct and Indirect), integrate complex global and regional tax compliance rules into SAP S/4HANA, conduct gap analyses, and partner closely with business leaders and cross-functional engineering teams.\n\nKey Responsibilities :\n\n1. Tax Architecture & Implementation :\n\n- Design and deploy end-to-end SAP FI-Tax solutions (including GST, VAT, TCS/TDS, and Withholding Tax configurations) to ensure full compliance with regional and global statutory requirements.\n\n2. Complex Tax Integrations :\n\n- Lead tax integration projects by collaborating with business process owners to translate intricate tax laws into scalable, automated SAP system workflows.\n\n3. Audit & Process Optimization :\n\n- Conduct comprehensive gap analyses and system audits to identify optimization opportunities, keeping tax reporting efficient, streamlined, and error-free for the finance department.\n\n4. Team Mentorship & Growth :\n\n- Mentor junior consultants and cross-functional team members by providing technical guidance on SAP best practices, fostering a culture of continuous learning.\n\n5. Stakeholder Management :\n\n- Manage executive stakeholder expectations during large-scale deployments by providing clear, data-driven insights into tax impact, operational risks, and system performance.\n\nRequired Skillset & Qualifications :\n\n1. Core Functional Expertise :\n\n- Deep expertise in configuring SAP FI/CO modules with a specialized focus on Direct and Indirect Tax, including hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA tax engines and localization tools.\n\n2. Tax Compliance Knowledge :\n\n- Strong practical understanding of statutory tax laws (GST, Withholding Tax, e-Invoicing, e-Way bill integrations, VAT compliance).\n\n3. Communication & Advisory :\n\n- Proven ability to articulate complex technical tax concepts clearly to non-technical financial leaders and stakeholders.\n\n4. Problem Solving & Analytics :\n\n- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to troubleshoot critical tax posting/determination issues under pressure while maintaining data integrity.\n\n5. Leadership & Execution :\n\n- Exceptional project management and leadership skills, with a proven track record of guiding teams through high-stakes digital transformations.\n\n6. Education :\n\n- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Technology, or CA/ICWA certification (SAP FI/CO certifications are highly preferred).\n\n7.
