This role is central to making GrowthLoop dependable as we grow, and you’ll have meaningful ownership of the systems our product and customers rely on every day.\nWhat You'll Do\nBuild and operate backend services that move data through GrowthLoop, from warehouse queries to downstream systems.\nImprove how those services handle incoming events, execute queries, transform results, and coordinate delivery.\nDig into customer problems, identify practical solutions, and test and measure whether those solutions work.\nBuild and maintain APIs and integrations across major cloud data warehouses, and support the product’s move toward real-time capabilities.\nParticipate in the platform team’s on-call rotation. You’ll respond to production issues, work with teammates to restore service, keep the right people informed, and use what you learn to improve reliability and make future incidents easier to resolve.\nFind and fix problems that affect correctness, speed, reliability, security, and ease of operation as the platform grows.\nBuild shared components, automation, documentation, and tools that reduce repeated work and make common tasks easier.\nHelp your fellow engineers do good work through clear code reviews, context sharing, mentoring, early communication, and follow-through.\nLeverage AI tools every day in your day-to-day work, and help to build GrowthLoop’s ML & agentic products.\nWhat You Bring\n5+ years of production coding experience, with a strong foundation in Python, building and scaling services that help engineering teams do their best work. \nExperience in a startup or high-growth environment.\nDeep experience designing, building, and maintaining services, with end-to-end ownership including on-call.\nExperience with backend-heavy systems and distributed architectures, including working with GCP or AWS and building for reliability, security, and observability at scale.\nLives on the bleeding edge - you wield frontier tech (e.g., AI agents) to amplify speed, quality, and impact.\nThrives in ambiguity - you map constraints, surface hard questions early, and drive clarity.\nEmbodies a learner’s mindset - you ask, absorb, and act fast.\nExothermic in everything you do - you energize people, projects, and teams.\nAbout GrowthLoop\nGrowthLoop built the first composable CDP, helping marketers leverage live, first-party data from their cloud warehouse to launch highly targeted campaigns.
