As a purchase manager, you will be responsible for handling the procurement process, sourcing suppliers and managing vendor relationships to ensure a seamless supply chain and optimise costs. You will also collaborate with cross-functional teams, make strategic decisions and implement best practices within our procurement function.\nThis is an exciting opportunity to contribute to our company's success and be part of a dynamic team in a competitive market.\nKey Responsibilities\nDevelop and implement procurement strategies and policies for cost optimization and supply chain efficiency\nIdentify, evaluate, and select suppliers based on quality, cost-effectiveness, and ethical standards\nNegotiate contracts and terms with suppliers to ensure favorable pricing and mutually beneficial agreements\nManage supplier relationships, including performance evaluation, issue resolution, and long-term partnership building\nConduct market research and analysis to stay updated on industry trends and pricing fluctuations\nMonitor inventory levels, analyze demand patterns, and implement inventory management strategies\nCollaborate with internal stakeholders to understand requirements and align procurement with organizational goals\nImplement procurement systems and tools to streamline processes and enhance efficiency\nAnalyze and present procurement reports, performance metrics, and cost-saving opportunities to management\nEnsure compliance with regulatory requirements and promote ethical and sustainable sourcing practices\nDevelop procurement metrics to track performance and identify areas for improvement\nManage Admin, HR, IT, and Marketing spends\nPreferred skills and qualifications\nBachelor's degree in supply chain management, business administration, engineering or a related field.\n2+ years in procurement/purchasing in a fast-paced, competitive environment in the Indian market.\nIn-depth knowledge of procurement principles, strategies and best practices.\nStrong skills in budgeting, cost optimisation and negotiation techniques.\nKnowledge of vendor management and inventory management systems.\nAn analytical mind with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.\nAbility to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.\nProficiency in using procurement software and systems.\nKnowledge of local and national laws and regulations related to procurement.\nWillingness to work in a fast-paced and competitive environment.\nKnowledge of Admin , HR, IT , Marketing
