You'll be part of a diverse, supportive and inclusive culture, that celebrates our differences and puts people first by fostering growth, well-being, and a sense of belonging.\nWhat you will be doing\nAs a key part of the Industrial Applications Engineering team, you'll create impact by bridging the gap between customer needs and engineered solutions, ensuring every project is technically sound, competitively priced, and delivered on time.\nYour main responsibilities include:\nReview product specifications to determine technical requirements including equipment selection, sizing, costing, and pricing development.\nCoordinate with direct suppliers on pricing, delivery timelines, and technical information to support accurate proposals.\nProvide detailed documentation to Project Management covering pricing, delivery schedules, design information, and specification exceptions.\nConduct post-fulfillment project reviews to identify causes of margin erosion and implement improvements.\nSupport continuous improvement initiatives to eliminate inefficiencies and errors in the order-winning process.\nServe as the voice of the customer, advocating for their needs while aligning with departmental procedures and Grundfos values.\nWhat makes you a great fit\nAbove all, you are a detail-oriented technical professional with strong communication skills, an advanced understanding of pumps and rotating equipment, and a high sense of urgency to meet customer commitments. We would also imagine that you have:\nBachelor's degree in engineering, engineering technology, or business with equivalent technical sales and manufacturing experience.\nAdvanced understanding of pumps, construction, hydraulics, and application of rotating equipment.\nStrong interpersonal and written communication skills with keen attention to detail.\nWorking knowledge of Microsoft Office, AutoCAD (or similar drafting tools), SAP, and CRM systems.\nIt is a plus if you also have:\nPrevious experience in engineering, project management, or sales within a manufacturing environment.\nExperience developing technical proposals or quotations for engineered-to-order products.\nFamiliarity with industrial pump standards and specifications (e.g., API, ANSI/HI).\nPlease note that relocation for this position cannot be supported and qualified candidates must have the authorization to work in the USA without support.\nThe salary range for this position is $58,400 to $87,325. Individual pay will be determined based on market location and the candidate’s profile. The range listed is just one component of Grundfos’s & Peerless Pump Company total compensation and benefits package for employees.
