As our new Division Lead Purchasing Manager, Commercial Building Service, you'll be defining and driving divisional purchasing priorities and leading high-impact initiatives such as cost optimization, supply chain de-risking, and localization strategies that strengthen Grundfos's global competitiveness. What you will be doing
As a key part of the Group Purchasing team, you'll create impact by leading strategic purchasing initiatives that bridge Group Purchasing and divisional stakeholders, building supply chain resilience, reducing costs, and accelerating delivery performance across our global operations.
Your main responsibilities include:
- Define the roadmap of divisional projects involving Group Purchasing, including cost-out, de-risking, localization, supplier lead time reduction, and make/buy feasibility assessments
- Project manage prioritized initiatives end-to-end - planning, coordinating, and tracking progress across Group Purchasing and divisional teams such as Commercial Building Services
- Establish and drive professional performance management frameworks to define, execute, and monitor divisional performance goals across cost, resilience, and strategic KPIs
- Act as deputy for the Group Purchasing Divisional leader in relevant leadership forums, influencing senior stakeholders with clarity and conviction
- Establish and participate in cross-divisional purchasing forums to align approaches, share best practices, and coordinate projects such as supplier capacity expansion for data centers
- Continuously improve processes and methodologies for driving purchasing performance, embedding a culture of ownership, efficiency, and accountability
What makes you a great fit
Above all, you're a results-driven, ambitious purchasing leader with deep project management expertise, strong influencing skills, and a proven ability to deliver complex global initiatives in an industrial manufacturing environment. We'd also imagine that you are/have:
- 10+ years of direct purchasing experience in manufacturing/machining & assembly environments, with hands-on knowledge of industrial categories
- Proven track record of managing complex, cross-country/regional projects in a large multinational organization with strong end-to-end project management skills
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and influencing skills with demonstrated ability to engage and align senior leadership across functions and geographies
- High maturity and strong problem-solving capabilities
It's a plus if you also:
- Experience in change management, cost-out programs, supply chain resilience, or localization/regionalization strategies within a global manufacturing company
- Familiarity with professional performance management frameworks and continuous improvement methodologies
- Background bridging central purchasing functions and business divisions, translating divisional priorities into actionable purchasing initiatives
