Candidates must be willing to travel along the West coast to various customer sites as needed and operate onsite daily when not traveling.\nWhat you will be doing:\nAs a key part of the Service Delivery team, you'll create impact by delivering first-class service that exceeds customer expectations while nurturing a strong safety culture across every interaction and repair.\nYour main responsibilities include:\nConduct inspection, fault analysis, warranty qualification, repair, and performance testing of returned pumps in the workshop and at customer sites\nRegister customer information, perform risk assessments, and clean pumps according to EHS sanitary requirements upon receival\nProcess warranty claims in FAS, report product quality issues in QIP, and prepare quotations for non-warranty repairs\nDeliver professional repair reports to customers, coordinate packing and shipping of completed units, and handle merchant returns and credit processing\nPerform regular workshop maintenance including calibration and upgrade of equipment and tools, and conduct workplace safety inspections\nMaintain strong relationships with customers, service partners, and internal stakeholders while communicating Safety, Health, and Environment matters\nWhat makes you a great fit:\nAbove all, you are a detail-oriented technical problem solver with strong customer service skills, a commitment to safety, and the ability to work independently in a remote, travel-heavy role. We would also imagine that you have:\nA bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a technical discipline (mechanical, electrical, or related field)\nA minimum of 2+ years of relevant work experience in a service, repair, or workshop environment.\nExperience servicing Pumps, motors, controls, or have rotating equipment experience.\nProficiency with SAP, MS Word, and MS Excel\nIt is a plus if you also:\nKnowledge of warranty claim processes and quality improvement reporting\nFamiliarity with health & safety regulations and risk assessment procedures in a workshop or field service setting\nThe salary range for this position is $26.77 to $38.96 per hour. Individual pay will be determined based on market location and the candidate’s profile. The range listed is just one component of Grundfos’s total compensation and benefits package for employees.
