You'll be part of a diverse, supportive and inclusive culture, that celebrates our differences and puts people first by fostering growth, well-being, and a sense of belonging.\nWhat you will be doing\nAs a key part of the Structural Fabrication team, you'll create impact by Building the heavy structural components that form the backbone of Grundfos solutions, ensuring every weldment meets exacting quality and safety standards..\nYour main responsibilities include:\nInterpret engineering drawings, plans, and patterns to fabricate large structural weldments from heavy metal plates and sections\nAccurately mark measurements and shapes on metal surfaces, then cut and trim materials to specified dimensions using arc, plasma, and flame cutters\nFit and tack-weld metal members together to form structural assemblies, maintaining certification on tack-weld procedures\nInspect own work and complete quality documentation to ensure all fabrications meet engineering specifications\nOperate material handling equipment including forklifts, cranes, hoists, and hydraulic jacks to move materials and supplies\nPerform preventative maintenance on equipment and maintain a safe, clean work area\nWhat makes you a great fit\nAbove all, you are a detail-oriented structural fabrication professional with strong blueprint reading skills, hands-on welding and fitting experience, and a commitment to producing high-quality work safely and efficiently.\nWe would also imagine that you have:\nHigh school diploma, GED/HSE or equivalent *required\n3-5 years of structural fitting and welding experience *much preferred\nAbility to read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and specifications *required\nProficiency with stick and wire-feed welding machines, arc/plasma/flame cutters, and small power tools *required\nExperience operating cranes, hoists, forklifts, and hydraulic jacks\nIt is a plus if you also:\nTack-weld procedure certification or ability to obtain certification promptly\nBasic computer skills including MS Windows and SharePoint\nExperience working in non-climate-controlled manufacturing environments with physical demandsincluding standing for extended periods and lifting up to 40 pounds\n\nWhy you will love working here\nWe care!
