The successful candidate will have skills crossing from Systems Administration, and Operations Support. \nEnsure data reliability and accuracy by monitoring and maintaining application systems. \nContribute to operational success through continuous performance monitoring and proactive troubleshooting, to potentially include changes to system configuration, changes to the code base, etc. \nMaintain system health by tracking metrics, logs, dashboards, alerts, and application status to prevent downtime and ensure optimal application performance. \nSupport watch floor operations by identifying service degradation, failed dataflow, systems errors, and application issues, and escalating as needed. \nPerform basic Linux system administration tasks, including checking service status, starting, stopping, and restarting services, reviewing logs, validating disk, memory, and CPU usage, and supporting server reboots. \nSupport cloud-based operations by using AWS Console or AWS CLI to check instance health, review system status, restart or reboot servers, and assist with basic operational troubleshooting. \nWork in a rotating shift schedule, 6 am to 6 pm/ 6 pm to 6 am, to provide 24/7 application support on our watch floor. \nProspective candidates must have proficiency in One or more of the following skillsets/technologies: Monitoring/Watchfloor Operations: Monitoring tools, such as Grafana, Kibana, Splunk, or CloudWatch \nSystems Administration: Working in a linux environment, ability to check system health, start, stop, and restart services, review logs, and reboot servers safely. \nCloud/AWS Operations: Experience supporting EC2 instances, service health checks, and basis operational troubleshooting. `\n\nWhat You Must Have\nAll experience and education will be in a technical field directly related to the labor category being proposed and all diplomas, GED certificates, and degrees will be from accredited institutions. \n10 years of minimum experience and a High School Diploma/GED. \n8 years of minimum experience and Associate's degree. \n6 years of minimum experience and a Bachelor's Degree. \n4 years of minimum experience and a Master's degree. \n2 years of minimum experience and a Doctorate's degree. \nActive TS/SCI with polygraph clearance. \nPay Range: At GRVTY, we understand that compensation is influenced by many factors-such as geographic location, federal contract labor categories, wage rates, prior experience, skillsets, education, and certifications.We’re proud to offer a work environment that empowers our team to achieve a strong work-life balance.
