The ideal candidate will be responsible for building, integrating, and testing systems ensuring compliance with quality assurance standards. Prefer experience manufacturing RF-based electronic systems.\nAs a Junior Production Technician, you will be part of a team responsible for production support in our production factory. Tasks include regularly scheduled production activities involving the hands-on build-up and integration of electronic equipment, completion of acceptance tests, troubleshooting hardware and software issues, and packing and shipping of systems. Additional duties include administratively tracking production tasks and assets in our ticketing system for proper documentation, along with configuration management and test reports. In this role, you must maintain flexibility in mission expectations and requirements and be able to follow through on various tasks that are required to build, integrate, and test quality systems for delivery. The successful candidate will be expected to work on site in Northern Virginia with limited opportunities to work from home due to the hands-on nature of this position.\nWhat You'll be Owning\nCoordinate with production, logistics, and facility managers on material availability, production schedule, delivery need dates, and steps throughout the production process.\nAid with production planning for multiple system designs.\nBuild and integrate electronic equipment.\nComplete production checklists and acceptance test procedures in coordination with quality assurance.\nIdentify and help resolve problems with production goods.\nTroubleshoot and resolve technical (hardware and software) issues as they occur in coordination with the engineering team as needed.\nEscalate any hardware/software issues or system outages to leadership immediately.\nAdministratively track production tasks and assets in our ticketing system for proper documentation.\nManage and log the configuration of hardware and software.\nDocument production data and maintain accurate records.\nComplete test reports and prepare for delivery.\nOperate and monitor test equipment verifying calibrations are current to ensure data integrity.\nInspect intermediate and finished products for quality assurance/quality control and adherence to specifications.\nAssist logistics team in teardown, packing, and shipping of systems.\nEffectively manage time to support delivery need dates.\nCollaborate with production team members to improve efficiency and productivity.\nMaintain a clean and organized work environment.\nPerform preventative maintenance checks and services.\nFollow all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.\nAssist in the setup and calibration of test equipment for new production runs.\nParticipate in continuous improvement initiatives and training programs.\nWhat You Must Have\nMust have a High School Diploma and 3+ years of relevant experience.\nMust have the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.\nAbility to read and interpret test procedures and technical documents.\nPhysically able to lift, rack, and stack equipment following one-person, two-person, and lifting device safety recommendations\nAbility to work effectively under time constraints.\nShould be able to do basic troubleshooting skills in software loading, hardware, or network issues.\nMust show excellent communication and organizational skills.\nEffective verbal and written communication skills.\nAttention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.\nBasic computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office applications is required\nWhat Would be Nice to Have\nPrevious experience in a manufacturing or production environment.\nBasic understanding of production processes and RF test equipment.\nFunctional knowledge of ground systems capable of transmitting and receiving RF emissions.\nTechnical certification or training in a related field.\nExperience working with ground terminal equipment.\nWillingness to work flexible hours, including shifts and weekends if necessary.\nStrong troubleshooting skills in software loading, hardware, and network issues.\nPay Range: At GRVTY, we understand that compensation is influenced by many factors-such as geographic location, federal contract labor categories, wage rates, prior experience, skillsets, education, and certifications.\nWe’re proud to offer a work environment that empowers our team to achieve a strong work-life balance.
