Employees selected for these positions must be willing to be flexible, adaptable, and multi-skilled. Team members may be assigned to work in:\nAny machining area \nFinishing operations \nOther production areas as business needs require \nThe ability to learn multiple processes, support different departments, and work effectively across various operations will be a key requirement for success in these roles. \nSelection Process:\nDue to the limited number of openings, placement on the Weekend Shift will be based on business needs, qualifications, skills, training requirements, and overall flexibility to support multiple areas of the operation.\nRequirements\nOperate Machines assigned after set-up by area supervisor, Lead person or Set-up Person.\nMake adjustments (e.g change tool offsets) as allowed to produce parts in accordance with tolerances and specifications as called for on production sketches.\nInspect parts as produced to assure compliance with requirements using micrometers, verniers, gages, fixtures and/or other measuring equipment.\nRecognize and report need for adjustments and toll sharpening.\nReport any problems, difficulties, or unusual circumstances immediately to supervision.\nResponsible for exercising good machine practices at all times.\nResponsible for production, both quality and quantity.\nMaintain accurate production cards, records or other data as required.\nMaintain area, equipment and tools in neat, orderly condition.\nObserve all company policies, rules, and regulations including good housekeeping, safety and security.\nPerform other duties as required, assigned or directed.\nJob Specifications:\nHigh School or GED preferred\n3 months - 1 year or more of experience\nMachining experienced preferred but not required\nCapacity to understand measurement and inspection devices\nAble to interpret blue prints\nUnderstand part placement to achieve optimum efficiency\nWe are looking for people who are highly motivated with the ability to work in a fast paced environment.
