Assures the reliability of all production equipment in support of operational business goals.\nResponsibilities:\nPerforms necessary repairs and adjustments to systems and components to ensure the proper operation of production machinery and equipment.\nAnalyzes, diagnoses, and trouble shoots problems, determines the root cause, and makes repairs. Performs scheduled preventative maintenance on equipment as assigned.\nOperates drill presses, lathes, milling machines, sheet metal breaks, shears, and other equipment used in fabrication or modification of machine parts and guarding.\nExperience with CNC troubleshooting, mild programming, and schematic navigation. This applies to, but not limited to Mazak, HAAS, Robert E Morse, amongst others.\nWorks from mechanical drawings and schematics in accordance with standard practices, reads and interprets hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical schematics and drawings.\nAnalyzes and trouble shoots programmable logic controllers, input and output devices using ladder logic interpretation. Works with Engineering to determine root cause and corrective actions.\nTrains and mentors less experienced maintenance staff\nFollows all safety rules, practices, and established company guidelines.\nOther duties as assigned by the manager.\nRequirements\nJob Specifications:\nHigh School Diploma or equivalent and 3-5 years of experience\nMechanical experience on various systems, such as pneumatic, hydraulic, electrical, and controls systems.\nAbility to make decisions and plan ahead.\nAbility to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Extensive knowledge of machine electronics.\nAbility to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed written or oral instructions. Ability to problem solve in most situations.\nService oriented with strong communication skills\nAble to determine, recommend and implement process improvements.\nCooperative and diplomatic\nStrong attention to detail\nWe are looking for people who are highly motivated with the ability to work in a fast paced environment.
