This position manages supplier relationships, purchase orders, material availability, cost performance, and supply chain risks to ensure production continuity and on-time delivery to customers. The role works closely with Operations, Engineering, Quality, Planning, Finance, and suppliers to support business objectives.\nKey Responsibilities\nManage purchase orders from requisition through receipt, including order placement, maintenance, delivery monitoring, and issue resolution.\nEnsure material availability to support production schedules and customer commitments.\nCoordinate with suppliers to expedite, reschedule, and manage delivery requirements.\nServe as the primary point of contact for assigned suppliers and manage day-to-day supplier relationships.\nMonitor supplier delivery, quality, cost, and responsiveness; support supplier performance improvement initiatives.\nLead RFQs, evaluate supplier quotations, and support sourcing and supplier selection activities.\nNegotiate pricing, lead times, commercial terms, and stocking agreements within established authority levels.\nIdentify and mitigate supply chain risks, including capacity, performance, and continuity concerns.\nSupport cost reduction, cost avoidance, and continuous improvement initiatives.\nEnsure compliance with company policies, customer requirements, aerospace quality standards, and applicable regulatory and contractual requirements.\nRequirements\nRequired\nHigh school diploma or equivalent.\n2+ years of purchasing, procurement, supply chain, materials management, or related experience.\nExperience managing purchase orders, supplier communications, and delivery schedules.\nStrong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.\nEffective communication and collaboration skills.\nProficiency with Microsoft Excel and ERP systems.\nAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.\nPreferred\nBachelor’s degree in supply chain, business, engineering, or a related field.\n3-5 years of procurement or purchasing experience in manufacturing.\nAerospace, defense, automotive, or other regulated industry experience.\nExperience with sourcing, supplier negotiations, supplier performance management, and cost reduction initiatives.\nFamiliarity with metals, AS9100, ITAR, FAR/DFARS, or similar regulatory requirements.\nAPICS/ASCM, CPSM, or related certification.\nWe are looking for people who are highly motivated with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
