Once launched, you’ll transition into modernising reporting workflows and migrating legacy reports to Power BI.\nAbout You\nAs a Data Warehouse Developer, you will:\nArchitect, design, and build a MySQL data warehouse, including schema and data models.\n\nDevelop and manage ETL/ELT pipelines to ingest data from multiple business systems.\n\nOptimise database performance for fast, reliable data access and reporting.\n\nTroubleshoot and resolve data-related issues, including pipeline failures and inconsistencies.\n\nDocument data models, processes, and architectural decisions clearly and thoroughly.\n\nCollaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver tailored data solutions.\n\nRedevelop existing reports from various platforms and data sources into Power BI, aligned with the new warehouse.\n\nKey Skills & Experience\nAdvanced SQL skills for complex data manipulation, aggregation, and retrieval (MySQL preferred).\n\nExperience with ETL tools such as MS SSIS, Azure Data Factory (ADF), or Lobster.\n\nStrong grasp of data modelling techniques including dimensional modelling and normalisation.\n\nExcellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities.\n\nClear communication skills for engaging both technical and non-technical stakeholders.\n\nFamiliarity with version control systems such as Git.\n\nAbout Us\nAbout us\nGSF Car Parts is one of the UK’s leading automotive parts distributors, supplying thousands of independent garages throughout the UK and Ireland with parts, tools, garage equipment and specialist training.
