DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:\nInventory Accuracy & Cycle Counting\nPerform scheduled and routine inventory cycle counts, physical inventory counts, and bin location audits to maintain accurate inventory records.\n\nInvestigate, research, and resolve inventory discrepancies, negative inventory balances, and stock variances in collaboration with the Inventory Control Supervisor.\n\nMaintain accurate inventory records through manual documentation and electronic inventory management systems.\n\nMonitor and maintain established cycle count schedules, inventory adjustments, and warehouse location accuracy.\n\nResearch and correct invalid pallet IDs, duplicate pick locations, and inventory location discrepancies.\n\nSupport inventory reconciliation and assist with identifying opportunities to improve inventory accuracy and reduce shrink.\n\nGenerate and review reports related to inventory variances, stock levels, product movement, and inventory adjustments.\n\nReceiving, Shipping & Product Returns\nVerify inbound and outbound shipments against purchase orders, invoices, receiving documents, and shipping records.\n\nConduct daily purchase order (PO) audits to ensure inventory transactions are accurate and properly documented.\n\nCheck in delivery drivers, verify paperwork, and coordinate appropriate product placement and receiving procedures.\n\nProcess product returns, complete return put-aways, and ensure returned merchandise is accurately recorded and stored.\n\nResearch product shortages, overages, and products reported as not loaded or delivered.\n\nAssist with inventory requests from purchasing teams, K12 Solutions, and other departments.\n\nSupport receiving and shipping operations by ensuring accurate product identification, labeling, and documentation.\n\nFood Safety, Quality & Inventory Rotation\nMonitor product rotation using FIFO (First In, First Out) and FEFO (First Expired, First Out) inventory practices.\n\nInspect incoming and stored products for quality, temperature compliance, expiration dates, labeling, and product integrity.\n\nEnsure proper storage and handling of products in dry, refrigerated, and frozen warehouse environments.\n\nIdentify, document, and properly handle damaged, expired, contaminated, or unsellable products according to company procedures.\n\nAssist with product recalls by accurately identifying, locating, and isolating affected inventory.\n\nSupport product damage recovery, inventory adjustments, and approved donation coordination.\n\nFollow established food safety, sanitation, warehouse security, and inventory control procedures.\n\nWarehouse Operations & Equipment\nSafely operate warehouse material handling equipment (MHE), including forklifts, order pickers, and electric or manual pallet jacks, as trained and authorized.\n\nAssist with assigning new pick locations, correcting duplicate pick bins, and maintaining organized inventory storage areas.\n\nMaintain clean, organized, and secure dock, receiving, and warehouse storage areas.\n\nCollaborate with warehouse operations, receiving, shipping, purchasing, and transportation teams to resolve inventory-related issues.\n\nFollow company safety policies and established warehouse operating procedures.\n\nSupport additional warehouse and inventory control responsibilities as assigned.\n\nMINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS:\nHigh school diploma or GED required.\n\nMinimum 2 years of warehouse inventory control, inventory administration, or distribution center experience.\n\nExperience performing cycle counts, inventory audits, stock reconciliation, and inventory discrepancy research.\n\nAbility to operate or learn to operate forklifts, order pickers, and pallet jacks safely.\n\nProficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook.\n\nStrong mathematical skills and ability to accurately calculate quantities, verify counts, and identify discrepancies.\n\nExcellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and accuracy in recordkeeping.\n\nAbility to manage daily responsibilities independently while meeting established deadlines.\n\nStrong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.\n\nAbility to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced warehouse environment.\n\nWillingness to learn new systems, procedures, and inventory processes.\n\nAbility to work in refrigerated and freezer environments for extended periods.
