This is a leadership role accountable for a defined area of the capability.\nAbout the team:\nBusiness Operations keeps the Risk and Compliance function running as a function. It owns the planning cadence, budget tracking, contracting, reporting and process improvement that let the specialist teams focus on risk work.\nKey responsibilities:\nThis role will provide you the opportunity to lead key activities to progress your career. These responsibilities include some of the following:\nLead a defined area of the capability, including its people, delivery and outcomes.\nManage delivery against the capability roadmap and escalate blockers early.\nDevelop team capability through coaching, review and structured feedback.\nRepresent the area in CSO governance and cross-functional forums.\nOwn the operating cadence of the function, including planning cycles and governance meetings.\nDevelop and establish operational processes across the function.\nManage the contracting process alongside Procurement, Legal and Finance partners, ensuring timeliness and efficiencies.\nTrack budget against forecast and prepare financial and operational reporting.\nExtract, analyse and visualise data relating to the operational aspects of the function.\nContribute to and manage people-related initiatives across the function.\nBasic Qualifications:\nDegree in a relevant discipline, or related experience.\nDemonstrated experience in business operations, chief of staff or PMO work.\nWorking knowledge of budget tracking and operational reporting.\nPractical experience with process improvement.\nSignificant experience in cyber security within the relevant domain.\nProven experience leading a team or a substantial programme of work.\nExperience managing delivery to plan, quality and timelines.\nExcellent relationship management, influencing and communication skills.\nPreferred Qualifications:\nCyber Security knowledge, or corresponding experience working in a Cyber Security Office, will be a benefit.\nExpert skills in data analysis and visualization through Excel and Power BI.\nExperience in embedding Agile Product Management methodology.\nExperience working across time zones in a global function.\nRelevant certification such as PMP, PgMP, SAFe, Lean or Six Sigma.\nExperience in pharmaceutical, life sciences or another highly regulated industry\n Skills\nBudget Tracking, Business Operations, Cloud Security, Cybersecurity, Cyber Security Management, Data Integrity, Executive Reports, Identity Access Management (IAM), Operational Reporting, PMO Best Practices, PMO Leadership, Risk Assessments, Risk Management, Risk Management Framework, Security Architecture Design, Security Compliance, Security Policies, Security Risk, Third Party Risk Management, Vulnerability Management, Web Application SecurityWhy GSK?\nUniting science, technology and talent to get ahead of disease together.\nGSK is a global biopharma company with a purpose to unite science, technology and talent to get ahead of disease together.
