Our Ahead Together strategy is centred on early intervention to prevent and alter the course of disease, thereby protecting people and supporting healthcare systems.\nOur diverse portfolio consists of vaccines, specialty medicines, and general medicines.\nThrough continuous innovation and a dedicated focus on scientific and technical excellence, we strive to develop and launch new, groundbreaking treatments that address critical health challenges.\nKey Responsibilities\nConsolidate operational and financial reporting for DPTF, producing an accurate and current view of spend, forecast and operational health for leadership.\nRun the monthly and quarterly financial cycles for the function, including forecast collection, variance analysis and period end reporting, to the enterprise finance timetable.\nCoordinate the business planning cycle and operating rhythm, preparing materials, scheduling sessions and following actions through to closure.\nSupport budget management, tracking commitments, accruals and purchase activity against plan and flagging where the position is moving.\nCollect and quality assure financial and operational inputs from the federated Tech Finance Managers and domain teams, following up on gaps and inconsistencies.\nProduce cost transparency and establishment reporting, including unit cost, vendor and contractor spend and the funded position against actual headcount, at the level of detail leadership and domain teams need.\nSupport financial control and compliance activity, including approval routes, purchase governance and audit requests.\nIdentify and deliver process automation and optimisation opportunities across business operations, reducing manual effort in recurring cycles.\nProvide operational insight to senior leadership teams, highlighting trends, variances and issues with supporting analysis.\nPartner with Finance and with the Investment & Portfolio Manager so that financial reporting and portfolio reporting reconcile.\nMaintain the business operations tooling, templates and data so that reporting is repeatable and does not depend on individual effort.\nUse AI and analytics to accelerate consolidation, variance analysis and management reporting.\nExperience Required\nOverall 15+ Years of experience, typically 6-8 years in technology finance, business operations, financial analysis or management reporting roles.\nExperience running monthly and quarterly financial cycles to an external finance timetable.\nExperience consolidating financial and operational data from multiple teams into a single reliable view.\nExperience producing cost transparency reporting, including vendor, contractor and unit cost views.\nExperience supporting budget management, including commitments, accruals and purchase tracking.\nExperience identifying and delivering automation or simplification of recurring reporting processes.\nFamiliarity with financial and reporting systems and with AI enabled analytics applied to consolidation and variance analysis.\nSkills/Background\nStrong analytical and financial literacy, able to consolidate and interrogate large volumes of financial and operational data.\nHigh attention to detail and discipline in data quality, since leadership decisions rest on the reporting.\nClear communication skills, able to explain financial information to audiences without a finance background.\nWell organised, able to deliver recurring cycles reliably to a fixed external timetable.\nProactive approach to automating and simplifying repetitive work.\n Skills\nAgile Methodology, Business Operation Management, Cross-Functional Teamwork, Data Analysis, Design Thinking, DevOps, Financial Analysis Reporting, Financial Budgeting, Inventory Tracking, Management Reporting, Prioritization, Product Development Research, Product Roadmapping, Project Management, Return on Investment (ROI), Software Development, Strategy Deployment, User Experience (UX), User Interface (UI) DesignWhy GSK?\nUniting science, technology and talent to get ahead of disease together.\nGSK is a global biopharma company with a purpose to unite science, technology and talent to get ahead of disease together.
