About the role

We're looking for a proactive and adaptable Business Support Executive to play a key role in supporting the smooth operation of GSK New Zealand.

This is a broad and varied role combining office management, business operations, administrative coordination and employee engagement. Reporting directly to the General Manager, you'll work closely with the New Zealand Leadership Team and colleagues across the business to take ownership of key operational activities, support critical business processes and help create an organised, connected and engaging workplace.

You'll be trusted to manage core responsibilities independently, build strong relationships across the business and apply sound judgement when balancing priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Your role will be varied and will include:

  • Coordinating office operations, facilities, suppliers and workplace resources
  • Supporting meetings, business events, communications and employee engagement activities
  • Managing invoices, purchase orders, vendors and business-critical operational processes
  • Supporting workplace safety, technology initiatives, governance and compliance activities

About you

We are looking for an experienced business support, office management or administration professional who enjoys working across a broad range of responsibilities and partnering with stakeholders at all levels.

You'll bring a practical, solutions-focused approach and be comfortable working in an environment where priorities evolve and no two days look exactly the same. You know how to build strong relationships, manage competing demands and exercise good judgement while maintaining focus on business priorities.

Experience working in a highly regulated industry such as pharmaceuticals, healthcare, medical devices, financial services or professional services will be highly regarded.

You will need:

  • Experience in office management, business operations or senior administration
  • Strong stakeholder management, communication and coordination skills
  • The ability to independently manage priorities and make sound decisions
  • High attention to detail, integrity and a strong compliance mindset
