This role offers deep exposure to end-to-end Payroll execution, HR Service Delivery, vendor management, and cross-functional HR projects.\n Key Responsibilities\n1. Payroll Excellence & Governance\nLead the end-to-end monthly payroll execution for assigned Singapore entities, ensuring 100% accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with internal timelines, requirements and local statutory regulations. \nAudit downstream data flows from cross-functional business areas (e.g., Benefits, Global Mobility, Talent Acquisition) that comes from Workday or other sources to ensure accurate inputs and adjustments with the payroll vendor. \nAct as the primary operational point of contact for the payroll vendor, ensuring deliverables align with organizational business needs.\n2. Compliance, Audit & Statutory Relations\nServe as the official liaison for Singapore statutory authorities (e.g., CPF Board, IRAS, MOM), managing submissions, reporting, and inquiries. \nUphold strict data privacy and confidentiality standards, driving a zero-breach environment. \nSupport internal and external local/global data audits, ensuring all compliance imperatives are flawlessly met.\n3. Employee Experience & HR Service Delivery\nServe as the first-level resolution expert for employee and manager inquiries on Payroll related matters via ServiceNow, live chat, and email, ensuring a high-touch, efficient customer service experience. \nUtilize the HR case management system (ServiceNow) to track, manage, and close inquiries, keeping stakeholders informed with transparent, regular updates.\nProvide clear guidance to employees and business stakeholders regarding payroll cut-offs, statutory requirements, and company policies.\n4. HR Optimization & Strategic Projects\nChampion continuous improvement by identifying, designing, and implementing process enhancements across local HR and payroll workflows. \nPartner collaboratively with internal stakeholders (such as Finance, Site Leads, HR Business Partners, and LOC HR) on ad-hoc HR initiatives, statutory surveys, and data requests. \nContribute to regional or entity-specific HR projects as directed by the Regional Payroll Lead.\nKey Requirement s\nMinimum 3 years of hands-on payroll experience, preferably supporting Singapore payroll operations.\nStrong understanding of Singapore payroll statutory requirements, including CPF, Ordinary Wage (OW), Additional Wage (AW), overtime calculations, and payroll adjustments.\nExperience supporting payroll for a manufacturing, factory, or shift-based workforce is highly preferred.\nAble to review, validate, and reconcile payroll outputs, especially when working with an outsourced payroll vendor.\nExperience handling payroll exceptions such as backdated overtime claims, retroactive adjustments, and CPF recalculations.\nFamiliarity with HR/payroll systems such as Workday, and employee case management tools such as ServiceNow, would be an advantage.\nStrong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and ability to manage high-volume employee payroll queries.\nAble to communicate effectively with employees, internal stakeholders, and payroll vendors to resolve payroll-related issues.\nSkills\nAccounting, Data Management, Government Regulation, Payroll Processing, Payroll Reconciliation, Payroll Reporting, SLA Management, Stakeholder Management, Teamwork, Vendor ManagementWhy GSK?\nUniting science, technology and talent to get ahead of disease together.\nGSK is a global biopharma company with a purpose to unite science, technology and talent to get ahead of disease together.
