The role works closely with internal stakeholders, distributors, and finance teams to support month-end close activities, accounts management, payment processes, and financial controls while gaining exposure to a dynamic multinational finance environment.\nKey Responsibilities\nSupport month-end close activities, including preparation of accrual journals and financial reporting\n\nAssist in maintaining financial records and entity accounts in compliance with GSK accounting standards and finance policies\n\nProvide support for distributor accounting and related financial processes across Gulf markets\n\nCoordinate purchase-to-pay activities, including vendor creation and transaction tracking\n\nReview employee expense claims and supporting documentation in line with local and global policies\n\nSupport purchase order management and three-way matching processes for distributor-related transactions\n\nAssist with review and validation of distributor debit notes, supplier payments, and supporting documentation\n\nPrepare and reconcile distributor account statements\n\nSupport resolution of outstanding financial queries and disputed items with distributors\n\nMonitor payment collections and assist in clearing aging balances and open items\n\nBasic Qualifications\nUAE National with family book\n\nUndergraduate degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, Economics, or related field\n\nGood analytical and numerical skills\n\nProficiency in Microsoft Excel\n\nStrong communication and organizational skills\n\nAbility to work collaboratively with multiple stakeholders\n\nPreferred Qualifications\nBasic knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting\n\nPrior exposure to SAP or other ERP systems\n\nAttention to detail and commitment to accuracy\n\nProactive mindset with a focus on continuous improvement\n\nInterest in developing a career within Finance in a multinational environment\n\nAdditional Information:\nThis role is based on-site in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.\nSkills\nBusiness Reporting Tools, Data Storytelling, Digital Fluency, Financial Modeling, Financial Performance Improvement, Influencing Without Authority, Insight Generation, Problem SolvingWhy GSK?\nUniting science, technology and talent to get ahead of disease together.\nGSK is a global biopharma company with a purpose to unite science, technology and talent to get ahead of disease together.
