By joining this team, you’ll help shape systems that support thousands of employees worldwide, driving innovation and reliability in the tools that keep GSK moving forward.\nJob Purpose:\n\nThe Principal Developer Siemens OpCenter designs, develops, tests, and supports (Manufacturing Execution System) MES solutions using Siemens OpCenter Execution Pharma. The role translates business and manufacturing requirements into reliable, secure, and compliant system solutions, including configurations, databases, integrations, and custom applications. The role supports troubleshooting of complex technical issues, uses approved AI-assisted development tools to improve efficiency, and ensures all solutions meet quality, security, data integrity, and (Good Practice) GxP requirements. The Principal Developer- Siemens OpCenter also promotes standardization, reusable solutions, and best practices across MES platforms and teams.\nKey Responsibilities:\n\nDesign, configure, develop, and implement MES solutions using Siemens OpCenter Execution Pharma. \nTranslate business and manufacturing requirements into technical solutions by developing and maintaining system integrations, database objects, and custom applications that support operational and business needs.\nPerform testing, deployment, and validation activities to ensure system reliability and compliance. \nTroubleshoot and resolve MES application issues and provide production support. \nCollaborate with business users, project teams, and vendors to deliver MES projects while leveraging approved development and AI-assisted tools to enhance productivity, solution quality, and project outcomes.\nCreate and maintain technical documentation, design specifications, and support materials. \nContribute to standardization, best practices, and continuous improvement initiatives. \nEnsure compliance with GxP, data integrity, cybersecurity, and company standards while providing technical guidance, expertise, and knowledge sharing to support team capability and consistent system practices.\nParticipate in system upgrades, enhancements, and lifecycle management activities \nDevelop expertise across MES platforms, software technologies, and AI tools to effectively support and deliver solutions across multiple MES systems. \nUse AI-assisted development as the default way of coding, testing, reviewing and documenting, and validate all AI-generated output for quality, security, data integrity and GxP before release. \nImplement version control and automated build, test, and deployment practices where supported, achieving improved release quality and deployment efficiency.
